Is use of Alpha and Omega accounts at the same time allowed?

I'm an old eve online player that previously had 5 PAID accounts. Now that my son is old enough, I've reactivated one of my accounts while he created a new character on another to determine if he likes it.

My question is, will I get banned for using the other ALPHA accounts at the same time? I doubt I would run 5 accounts again long term, but at least short term, it is helpful to access them at the same time to sort through ships, items, etc.

You can't multibox an Alpha account so your Alpha and Omega accounts can't be logged in at the same time but you can have both types of account.

You can only use multiple Omega accounts at the same time. For Alpha accounts it is restricted to one login at the same time.
If you want to login with more than one account, you have to use Omegas. Once connected with an Alpha you can't login with an Omega anymore ( as long as the Alpha is logged in).

You can run one alpha account or any number of omega accounts per human being.

Running alphas simultaneously with other alphas or omegas is a good way to get yourself banned.

While it would be convenient to be able to look at all your accounts' assets at once, you're better off just cycling through and taking an inventory on your notepad and mailing it to your main.

Just have him run it on another computer, atm for alphas you can use an account per computer I guess.

is this a fact? So i can legally use omegas on my main computer and run an alpha on my laptop?

I don't think we're allowed to use separate computers to get around the login limitations for Alpha accounts. I've seen it justified if the Alpha (or Omega) accounts that log in simultaneously are registered to different people (different members of a family), but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

No. This is not legal under the EULA:

"You may establish more than one Account for each copy of the Software licensed. You are however not allowed to play EVE by using more than one Account at the same time, unless you pay a subscription fee for each of the Accounts you intend to use for that purpose."

The GMs have been clear that this applies to the use of multiple computers as well.

Thanks all for the responses. I'll have to resist the urge to pay for multiple accounts again, because I'm not sure which one I can do without.

I imagine since you are talking about two different people, having your accounts and your son's alpha account running on two different computers would probably be OK. Be prepared to explain yourself to the GMs if they start to think the activity looks suspicious though. You can also verify that this is alright by asking the GMs directly :)

To address the other questions in this thread, as an individual you should be following the EULA and that includes the part that was quoted in the post above me.
