Heyla!

I know this could've been done privately, but I kinda wanted to get a feel for the dating climate of podders since I returned from my self-imposed exile.

There's a lot of serious chat always going about between various faction nerds and I realised that I've fallen behind on the gossip of who is dating who when it comes to all-powerful, huge spaceship flying, demi-gods (who sometimes pretend to be baseliners, because whatever).

I remember, back in the Glamour Bunny days and for years afterwards, the topic of who was "podding" who (and not in the violent sense.... well.... some DO do it violently, I guess) was always fascinating. Human relationships are dynamic and interesting and when it comes to spanning constellations and regions, affection and, dare I say it - LOVE, has a way of finding home among the bleakness of space, death, abductions... ok, that's just my kink now...

YOU GET WHAT I MEAN! Ahem.

I remember such great love stories between many captains. I still personally admire and respect loads'a freaks out there, including some I've fought against.

But lemme get back to the topic at hand:

Dearest Liara Enith,

I've fancied the implants outta ya for a while now. You're a pretty cool chick. Would you be interested in a date? I was thinking a nice old-fashioned low-sec roam... we can take in the sights... probe out some fools... ransom them...or not. I've been around the constellations a while and would love to cosy up and tell ya about some of the cool stuffs I've seen... how the Bleak Lands used to be...

What'd'ya say hun? You game?

Liara is a less public figure than I, but I'm just going to confirm she said yes!

If you value your ships, I'd keep an eye on local and D-scan for a bit in lowsec and 0.0 in the coming days...

The topic is still up for discussion though! Who IS dating who these days? It can't be all one angry slaver-pit of strict loyalties and Istvaan Shogaatsu levels of paranoia. Love must bloom in the void of space! Maybe I'll find out later at the event tonight.

Somebody surely can sate my curiosity...

I expect nothing less than a fiery encounter with several explosions, chaos and mayhem resulting in a sexy encounter of agony and ecstasy. <3

I second this. We need proper celeb gossip journalism, and we need it now.

...I'm always shy? An easier question would be "what aren't I shy about?", I guess..

And I think that implying that capsuleers are dating other capsuleers when they may or may not be is quite awkward.

You are adorable. What are you not shy about then? Let´s start from there.

And given the ammount of capsuleers in existence, the mindset and common activities, one would consider that if a capsuleer dated anyone, it would most likely be another capsuleer, no?

..Watching holo-films, maybe? Most things that don't involve social interaction usually aren't that bad, I guess..

And.. I guess, maybe. but it's still awkward and rude to speculate!

Social interactions can be so demanding energetically, don´t you agree? That´s why i prefer intimate interactions. You can focus your attention on what is happening on the here and now, on all the tiny and specific sensations that run all over your body.

The quickening of your heart and breathing, the tension on your muscles, the blood flowing through your body making you red and pink, the umidity increasing locally, sensitivity making your body respond to the slight wind on your skin, words on your ear and the kiss on your neck, the muscles contracting and spasming so hard that the release of tension come in a sudden explosive delicious prolonged burst...... Definitely not bad.

It is rude to speculate, isn´t it my dear? Let them have no reason to do it then, let´s go watch a holo-vid you and me and there won´t be grounds for speculation.

Ms. Aubbes? I apologize for interrupting with something so awkward, but you might want to adjust your system to limit your forum inputs to pure text, and maybe even enter it by hand. My conversation in person tends to be a little hesitant and self-conscious, like yours, and Ms. Qerl, among others, makes fun of my "ellipses."

The IGS forum is a good place for long-form posts we can take our time formulating without it being clear how much thought we put into each word. You can puzzle for five minutes over what to say next without having a five minute break in what's being communicated to the reader, here.

You might want to consider taking advantage of this medium. Maybe not all forms of communication need to be equally awkward for you.

I'm sorry. I was writing those with my implants. So.. I'll try and avoid doing that in the future. I've edited my previous post to try and correct that. Sorry again..

It's really okay, Ms. Aubbes. It'll be neat to see what you sound like with plenty of time to think over everything you want to say.

Please be well, and good luck.
