Evening all,

I've just filed a support ticket for a other in-game reimbursement and was wondering what the average response time was?

Thanks.

There was no need to start another thread.

With reference to your question, it depends on the circumstances, their work load and whether or not the logs show a problem on their end.

Reimbursement happens very rarely, and the incident will be thoroughly investigated before a decision is made.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

This is for something entirely different.

The same applies, CCP don't generally reimburse anything, and when they do it's after a thorough investigation, which takes time.

I found him autopiloting through Uedama with 6 PLEX Straight

EVE's tutorial is pretty funny in this regard: one of the first thing it does is advertisement of autopiloting as a cool feature to moonwalk to your destination while AFK. I blew up a player earlier who was only using autopilot to jump (as he had learnt in the tutorial) and had no clue he could warp to 0. Saying that they care about new players, CCP add additional safety nets (like PLEX vaults), but don't bother writing one extra text line indicating that autopiloting doesn't prevent you from being ambushed and you're using it at your own risk.

PLEX is a item in-game just like any other. If you move it in your cargo and you die, that's it. CCP won't reimburse your money.

All I got from this is CCP is the CODE and the CODE is just alternative facts.

I only post here if EvE is offline. Which means my posts are never well timed.

I've been playing this game since 2009. I've only once had a reason to even ask about a reimbursement. If you've filed multiple reimbursement tickets before you've been playing the game for 2 weeks, that tells me you might not understand the concept of this game very well.

Eve is a game about decisions and consequences. By design loss in this game is supposed to hurt. If you can't make peace with that then this game isn't for you.

It usually takes a couple of weeks, sometimes even longer to receive an answer for a reimbursement ticket. CCP is usually very diligent about investigating reimbursement tickets. Best thing to do is wait for an answer and if you happen to find more info in your defense pertaining to the issue, you can add that to the existing ticket while waiting. Now if the decision doesn't go in your favor, you can respectfully request the ticket be forwarded to a Senior GM for review.

As for the other replies here in this thread saying reimbursement requests don't get granted, they don't speak for CCP.

Good luck with your Support Tickets.

By the way, never fly anywhere on autopilot and definitely never transport anything of value in an untanked ship.

You're not going to get reimbursed. You lost your stuff in valid PVP combat, there were no bugs that would justify a reimbursement. This is a PVP game.

Whenever you transport anything, you should consider the value of what you're transporting vs. the value of the smallest ship (typically a destroyer) that can kill you in one shot before Concord police arrives, in high sec. A shuttle can be killed by a newbie corvette, worth 1 ISK, and you were transporting 7 billion ISK worth of PLEX. Of course you got attacked.

PLEX can be used from anywhere in the galaxy, there's no reason to transport it. You can buy plex from the website, and leave it in the Redeem window, go to the destination (jita?) first, THEN redeem it to your hangar so you can sell it.

If you travel by autopilot, the autopilot lands you 15 km from every gate, then slowly flies your ship to the gate, to jump. That gives pirates a lot of time to scan and shoot you. Instead of autopilot, set the route but manually click the yellow gates in each system and click the "jump" button, for insta-jumping as soon as you land on the gate.

You were given the answer in a previous thread. Support ticket times depend on the nature of the ticket and the ammount of work required to properly investigate them.
