An acquaintance tells me that there are Certain Rules, for conducting an "Orgy", as defined by certain members of the Cult of the Lash, who are a bit out there, in terms of what they believe.

Anyway:

1. All Orgy Participants have to be free of communicable disease, and submit to testing to prove this, prior to kick-off.
2. Last one standing is the winner.
3. A Participant may be cautioned or, if the offence warrants it, sent off, if in the opinion of the referee(s), the participant has committed a foul on another Participant.
4. Offences include, but are not limited to, Unsporting Conduct, Violent Conduct, Simulation, Offensive Language.
5. The Referee's decision is final.
6. If at the end of the regulation time, there is no clear winner, the Orgy will enter Extra Time.

The other rules for orgies, are of course, obvious, and do not need to be stated here.

Uummm a question.

The Referee: Is that also an active participant?

Well now, that just wouldn't be fair, would it?

Indeed. How would any of the spectators have confidence in the result, if the referees and other officials were active participants ?

Fair? FAIR??! Pieter, didn't we just establish that orgies are the only thing keeping us from ALL IMMEDIATELY SUCCUMBING TO THE JOVIAN DISEASE?!?!?

Ohhhh, the horror. Ohhhhh, the humanity! Consider, Pieter, consider the terror and madness this choice must prevent for poor Diana: That's who this is REALLY unfair to! The Jovian Disease... or the Gallente Disease... extinction or hedonism...

The poor girl.

Despite our differences I can go along with this.

Are we talking about referees or judges. I'm beginning to think this is performance art.

Referees, to make sure participants are following the rules.

How else do you know when someone's won legitimately ?

Good thing I have the endurance to make to the end of those things so I can find out.

Mmmm. Amarrians are definitely what one thinks of when questions of endurance are raised...

On point 4: Why are fetishists being unfairly discriminated against?

Anyway the only real rule at any orgy is 'No means no, without exception'.

Fair is irrelevant. We're talking about Amarrian orgies aren't we? Whomever is in charge, is in charge. Deal with it Cool

That depends on with how much confidence they can lay down the law, Karmilla, dear.

I guess even the most devout and holy Amarrians have finally stopped being such prudes.

It's hard to tell which race is which anymore anyway so why don't we all just have one big orgy and get it over with, who am I to turn down a good time.

Is this a bring your own lube and toys affair? Have we decided on a meetup location?

There's nothing in Amarrian scriptures about avoiding sex. There are a few things I find morally questionable, simply from the standpoint of humanity, such as the slave breeding facilities or the various Sabik cannibal cults, but neither of these have anything to do with Amarrian religion itself.

The distance between sexuality and certain Amarrians today which has become popular is largely due to the influence of the Sani Sabik rites becoming widely publicized. Amarrians naturally wish to distance themselves from the Sani Sabik in all cases, so anything that hints of Sabik rites is viewed with suspicion these days.

As well as this there is the Gallente factor, most Amarrians seek to distance themselves from the pet of our most passionately hated foe, who has always been very sexually liberated in the extreme. There was tremendous sympathy in the Amarr Empire for the Caldari people when the Gallente committed atrocities in the name of democracy against them. This came on the heels of some limited reform movements which promoted the idea of passive reclamation, that not all infidels needed to be reclaimed through force.

The Caldari State tends to be much more conservative but this attitude arises from their historical environmental challenges more so than from any religious sensibilities.

Any orgy that you could possibly find would probably only allow you in as hired entertainment, that's probably the best way to get in - but in my opinion, in this political climate, it's very dangerous, join the wrong one and you might end up dead - or worse, as a slave. Capsuleers can't clone home if they have a control collar installed and vitoc injected into their veins. You'd be a prize pet, perhaps illegally according to CONCORD but completely legal by Amarrian law if you're an infidel and in Amarrian territory. Empyreans, especially famous ones, are the latest fad for peculiar slave collectors, even more so than Gallente pop stars or genuine Kameiras with a war record.

If you still want to try it, make sure to convert first - officially, on the books, and make sure a congregation at a temple somewhere knows you and will check up on you. They cannot enslave someone who willingly converts.

Some "people" have better things to do than have their faces glued to the IGS every other week. As well as this our attention span lasts more than a few months. This is what has caused the Amarr Empire to rise on the wings of its religion which is thousands of years old. If I have something to say about something, it is usually relevant for at least a hundred years.

So, I've done plenty of things in my life, but the one thing that I've not done is the proper Amarrian Orgy; you know, like the ones in the holos. So, I thought to myself, "Self, why don't you just post? Surely some Amarr holder will see this and slide you an invitation." So, here I am!

Like I said, looking for a proper one: decadent, luxurious, and elegant.
Not sure which holos you watched and what you consider decadent but I throw a party every month in Amarr VIII underground palace.
Attractions include: 1000 crates of liquor and Strong Mindflood boosters, Fedo, hangar full of corpses (male and female, FC's, streamers etc.), 200 janitors, 1000 tourists.
At the end we sacrifice the tourists to BoB and bathe in their blood.

It's quite casual and lasts only about 3 days. Tourists and doll fetishists welcome.
Of course the most extravagant and luxurious orgies you will never hear about, mine is just a little extravagant and might get you in touch with some of the community.
