i've managed to fix this by removing everything and reinstalling.

now I can't see the hangar....

I've sorted it by going into general settings and clicking merge items and ships into station panel

Watch out for you account username (not your character name): it should be kept secret for security reasons, since who knows your account name could actually try to hack it.
