Hey guys. With the amount of hauling cargo and mineing and the fact me and my daughter watched smokey and the bandit recently (chuckles) it got me thinking of setting up a public discord channel.

Somewhere where pilots can talk exchangeining info from wheres the best places to mine to traffic reports of pirates for anyone else nearby or if your mineing a place to ask for any help.

If your interested EVE HAULERS AND MINERS is the address. Mail me for password.

Oh and we have one primary rule. Do not use your eve online name in chat. You will need to come up with a handle. Reason will be for security reasons in case we get some wannabee pirates infiltrateing the chat and they cant put a name to the region your talking in and come and attack

I know reason I had posted here is that I forgot to mention channel can be also used by miners to discuss the market and prices of minerals and for haulers prices of other cargo cargo

1.) The hauler's channel exists.
2.) Do you even know how discord works? You literally just copied and pasted the link from your browser, that's not how someone can join your server....and server passwords don't exist on Discord.

KEK: Reason will be for security reasons in case we get some wannabee pirates

People who put passwords on char bazaar Eveboards are the worst.

So offer some advice to the OP, talking down to them is just plain rude.

We all started somewhere and some are still learning so please don't assume we are all as smart as you :)

There doesn't seem to be much point to your channel. As another poster mentioned, there's the Hauler Channel that exists for haulers to post contracts. This has a huge advantage over Discord in that you can link and pick up contracts directly from the channel.

Mining is a brain dead activity that doesn't really require people to discuss strategy. And in any event, there is an official Mining channel in game as well.

As for discussing pirates, there's the Gank-Intel channel, and also Anti-Ganking, though I'd avoid the latter. You could of course also join the Minerbumping Channel (pw: 315) and just be a silent observer...code agents often post their kills there, so you can see where they are.
