DEV I NEED ANSWER ON BANS

Hello CCP and players, my friends acc got banned, and it doesnt show any reason. for almost 2 weak's he dont have any answer from support. And the worst part is he cant even log in now in Eveonline.com and cancel his subscription. So basically CCP is illegally stealing my friends money. If any dev is reading this could you contact me.

Did he access his account at your house? Did you access his account at your house? Did he access your account at his house? did you access your account at his house?

Did he buy isk? Did he sell isk?

You shouldn't have bought ISK from a RMT site. Consider yourself lucky since probably was your first offence so you still have your other accounts; next offence will mean a permanent ban of all your accounts.

CCP are not going to give you a reason, for the simple reason that they don't discuss bans with 3rd parties.

If your "friend" has received a ban it's likely to be because of a EULA breach, in which case no refunds are given as per the agreement everybody agrees to when they play the game.

Such termination shall be effective upon notice transmitted via electronic mail, or any other means reasonably calculated to reach you.

CCP reserves the right to terminate any and all other Accounts that share the name, phone number, e-mail address, internet protocol address or credit card number with the closed Account. Termination by CCP under this section shall be without prejudice to or waiver of any and all of CCP's other rights or remedies, all of which are expressly reserved, survive termination, and are cumulative. You will not be entitled to receive a refund of fees for a termination pursuant to this section.


TL;DR They're not stealing your "friends" money, nor do they have to give a reason for his ban; in fact they can ban anybody they like for any or no reason at all, as per the EULA.

he is living in other country, he was playing only from his home. And he made ticket to CCP 3 times and still no answer. I know him very long time, and he wouldn't do anything Illegal. But the worst part is still money ticking and they havnt even stated reason for ban. ALMOST 2 WEAK's !!!

He should still be able to log in on eve website even while banned. He just can't play or post on forums. So he should be able to change payment method (cancel future charges) and file petitions for the account.

It is stealing, when character is banned and they still get money. Cuz subscription is still active, and he cant cancel it.

Probably some cat at GM office gave that ban accidentally. You know, you leave open computer and they walk on the keyboard, and bam!, and your friend is banned. 🤷
