The Worst Pilot in the Galaxy, Now Looking for Corp! (70mil SP +)

It's exactly what it says on the can. While I can't offer much in the way of piloting (my combat record is completely FUBAR), I have over 70 mil SP. In other words, I can be whatever you want me to be. If you do good by me, I'll love you long time!

My eveboard:http://eveboard.com/pilot/Alexander_Draegar

My not-so-killboard: (This may cause nightmares for elite players.) https://zkillboard.com/character/93788648/

The list below outlines much of what [little] I have to offer:

Notable things I can fit & fly:
-- I can fly Amarrian carriers, and am only a short train for Caldari ones too.
-- Nearly all Amarr sub-capital ships, with the exception of Tech 2 Battlecruisers & random E-war ships.
-- Nearly all Caldari sub-capital ships, with the exception of Tech 2/3 Destroyers, Battlecruisers, & random E-war ships.
-- Most Gallente ships, with the exceptions listed above, also including Tech 2 Battleships.
-- Some Minmatar ships. Cannot effectively fit Minmatar-specific Tech 2 mods for the most part, though.

-- I have Level 5 skills on the following advanced ship classes: Covert Ops Ships, and Recon Ships.
-- I have Level 4 skills on the following advanced ship classes: Marauders, Black Ops, Interdictors, Heavy Assault Cruisers, Amarr Carriers, and Amarr Tactical Destroyers. (Also, I have Level 4/5 skills on Amarr, Gallente, & Caldari Strategic Cruisers.)

What I can't fit & fly:
-- In any way that's decent. Like seriously, my flying style will even make an asteroid throw up.
-- Minmatar. I can only really fit well with frigs currently, and my cruiser skills are only used for unrelated faction ships.
-- Most mining ships. I'm not really that much into chunky stuff so I never skilled up very much for those things.
-- Most capital ships.
-- A lot of other random things that I'll mention if asked about.

Weapons:
-- Except for projectile turrets, I can place Tech 2 modules onto everything up to (and including some) battlecruisers.
-- I can fit Tech 2 missiles of all kinds as well as Tech 2 laser turrets of all kinds.
-- I can fit all types of Tech 2 sub-capital drones. Don't ask about mining drones, though.
-- I can fit Tech 2 Light Fighters. I only need a short training period for all other types of Tech 1 Fighters.
-- I'm only a short train away from Amarr & Caldari capital weapons.

Core Skills:
-- 70 mil SP, the vast majority of which are allotted to combat skills
-- Dying in spectacular and offensive ways
-- Solid probing skills for inappropriate wormhole exploration
-- Can fit Tech 2 defensive mods all around. Can pack solid damage for most sub-capital ships, especially for those listed above.
-- Solid E-war skills with the exception of Weapon Disruptors and capital mods.
--

Actual Piloting Skills:
-- They currently suck, and my combat record shows my proud lifetime of dying in the most absurd ways imaginable. I am indeed among the worst pilots in New Eden. But, at least my daddy's credit card never runs dry! (Just kidding, it's mine and I'm a poor SoB.)

Sense of Humor:
-- It's just as messed up as my piloting skills.

Now, to the worst part of my application: what I actually look for in a corporation

Experience: I'm a one-trick pony, and seek to lose this inglorious title. So yeah, I'm looking for someone who's experienced in covops ships and their use, marauders and their use, how not to die so fast during an ambush, and all those other things that go into losing the title of "Worst in New Eden." I would also love to learn the ropes of being a good FC once I get my actual piloting skills out of the Abyss.

Location: I like to rat to kill time, so a spot with nice ratting locations would be nice. Above everything else though, I'd rather have a place to call home and dock up when I really need to resupply. Sov null and wormholes would be nice, although I've only got experience with using the latter as a highway instead of a moneymaker.

Activities: Please, for the love of God don't even think about trying to make me mine. Not only are my skills down the commode, but it bores me to death. Industry in general isn't all that bad on my end, but my character has far more skills going in the way of shooting things than building them.

Once again, I do tend to rat in passing time, so company is of course appreciated. PvP is also a good thing, and I'll be more than happy to go on roams and learn the ropes of being able to spam the F1 key with unsurpassed speed and agility.

I'm just getting back into the game. I keep leaving and going on hiatus because I get bored and then lose ships pointlessly, and don't even have the company to go die with. If I end up in a corp where I end up being the only player logged on in a consistent basis, things will only head south.

Leadership: It's probably the one thing I'm biggest on. I have real-world military experience, and as such the one thing I look for in a leader is someone that actually makes sense. While I'm terrible at leading a bunch of pixelated ships around, I'm still there for those that have got my back. I'm hoping that you guys will operate the same way.

Recruitment: Please tell me more about yourselves! I took a while to post this want ad from scratch. I'm likely to join those people that show that they care enough to let in a dumbass like myself, even though my combat record lies in ruins. Most of all, I'll definitely join a corporation that goes out of its way to at least tell me in straight terms how I'll be able to fit into their group. If there's something as bad as being bored by myself, it's being irrelevant enough in a corp to be bored by myself.

Thanks for your time, and I look forward to your responses.

Fly Safe,

~Alex

We, here at Dissident Aggressors [DTAS], are a bunch of null-sec jack of all trades, masters of none, kind of players. We do BLOPS, small gang, big fleet, cap, mining, building, gate camps, D all of the above kind of corp. The leadership has an average of 8 years in game experience in all aspects. Most of the members have been in the game an average of 3 years. We are a very social, teamspeak based corp that prides itself in that if you are in DTAS, you are treated like family. We get RL. We understand that everyone wants to play the game based on different interests.

We currently live in Pure Blind/Deklein, next some some awesome nullsec systems and we wouldn't have it any other way!!

I just got back into the game in November and found The Dingus Coalition. I've enjoyed my time in this corp and the like the fact that there is no demands other than to log in occasionally. We just formed a new alliance with some other corps and have a nice ratting pocket in Immensea. There are some dedicated PvP members who hate mining as much as you and some like me who rat and PvP. The CEO is more than willing to help with ship fitting.

If this sounds like it'll work for you come join our public channel DCO. Public

Good luck in finding a home

Hi Alexander

Yours is certanly one of the more interesting posts here, had a good time reading it through. Which timezone do you play in?

I wonder why you insist on this title of yours, I also had my share of whelps, but they do not define me, I now laugh about them looking back. PVP record is only important if you want to join a group that is defined by killboard stats. What matters in 95% of corps is being social, easy to get along with (no drama), and helping each other when time comes. From your profile that I built in my head, you probably seek a corp that does not hold you back, and provides freedom, backbone and a group to call home. These check out with our corp, I wonder if you would like us.

Nevertheless I checked your skills, they are well rounded, you should have no problems either in null, or WH space.

I made a post already on the forums about us, could only repeat myself here, so for now I only put here some bullet point.

Deklein, sov, small, large fleets, PVE/PVP, citadels provided.

Good luck out there, hope you find what you look for.

Would you please get in touch with me via our in-game channel The EDF Bar? We can offer you you're after and, after thirteen years of PvPing, I like to think I know a thing or two I can pass along as advice. Not going to give you some long winded, cut and paste reply, if you'll do me the simple courtesy of a chat, we'll go through things in private.

13 years and counting. Eve Defence Force is recruiting.

Hey Alex,

How about a move from "Worst in New Eden" to "not being bad"?

If that works for you, think about Pathway to the Next, we're C4 WH Corp with C4/5 statics. We can show you how to use WH's for more than a highway to a fast death somewhere dark and cold. We'll NEVER ask you to mine, sure some people do that here...but no one is ever told 'hey , get in this covetor and stare at that rock for a couple hours'. In fact I am about to finish extracting the last of my mining skills...so if everyone else is mining (unlikely)...I will be looking for something else to do as well.

I am going to Eve Mail you with some more details.

I hope to hear back from you.

Thanks for asking! I'm currently in a US time zone, and will be for about the next four months or so before I move to London this fall for grad school. As you can imagine, I tend to be quite busy and fall off the edge of the earth on a more or less frequent basis. Will this present an issue?

Currently doing my homework on various corps, but open for offers! My killboard is terrible, and my piloting skills are currently very subpar, but I catch on quickly as long as I'm flying with a good group of folks!

Hey, I enjoyed your post and would like to chat further. I am a director for Sleeper Dreams, we are a late night UStz c4 wormhole corp with a focus on PvP. We have a c4/c5 static and aim use both to their fullest extent. We do anything from Combat Anoms, to Escalation Baiting and even Wormhole camping. It all depends what the individual members are up to and what we find...mainly what we find. We have members from a few months new to 5 years old experienced in all aspects of EvE and willing to lend a helping hand. We don't look for SP or Individual Skill so much as we look for attitude. The ability to be or become self reliant is a must, for not only doing well in the corp but in wormholes in general. If this sounds interesting send me a mail or convo in game or join channel NREM. Here is a link to our generic recruit ad. Looking forward to chatting with you soon.
