Old Account Non-Steam Wanting Premium Edition

Alright, so I have an old account I've brought back now that Eve is ftp. I downloaded Eve through Steam so I have my 'steam' Eve account and my old one that both show up in the launcher.
My question is if I get the premium edition from Steam, will it be accessible through my non-steam account(not the Steam User XXXXXXX account)?
Or is there a way to link my old account to Steam so that it is considered a 'steam' account?
I'm very confused on this and don't want to spend $50 to find out I have to start from scratch on a new account.

Below is a pic of my launcher to help make this clearer.

Anything you buy from steam is only available to the account made through steam. As far as I know, you cannot link other accounts to steam.

The steam 'premium' is a starter pack (and a waste of money). It will create a new account with 30 days of Omega access and give that account the extra items (PLEX, skins etc).

Those items can be transfered in game to your old account, but the 30 days of Omega is only for the new account.

if you have a character that is old enough that starting over isn't worth it I just can't see the premium edition as worth buying. You could buy like 3 months omega and a plex for that much.

You can bypass STEAM login:
Setting an account name for Accounts created through STEAM

I've never heard anyone wanting to move their account to STEAM.
