Issues, Workarounds & Localization

I have had this come up two or three times and would like to know if possible a way to fix it. The graphic started layers on the screen start flickering and the screen even goes black. In the end though the graphics just stops getting displayed and I was wondering If anyone had an answer as to how to fix this. After it stops displaying it gives me a pop up that says application has been blocked from graphics card and the only thing I can do is end task eve
