Sorry if this has already been posted. A forum search for "blood raider industrial" yielded no results. This is a silly idea that would be fit for a special edition ship. A novelty sort of thing. Or maybe it would work out in the main ship tree for the Blood Raiders; after all, we're getting Blood Raider capital ships in a coming update.

Pirate factions, though violent and criminal in nature, need some way to transport their goods. In the Blood Raiders' case, they may want to have a ship dedicated to corpse hauling. Though the Molok and the other capitals will have huge corpse bays, how would an aspiring corpse curator transport his collection? Maybe he doesn't have the billions and billions of ISK needed to buy a faction capital ship. Maybe he only has around 70 million. This is where a Blood Raider industrial would come in handy.

I can't think of a name, as there isn't much of a theme among Blood Raider ships, other than blood, of course. I imagine this nameless ship as a Sigil reskin, with the standard Blood Raider "bloody splatter" paintjob.

The following numbers are just what I think the general stats should be. Of course, these certainly wouldn't be very accurate to what CCP would do if they took some potent drugs and decided that adding this idea into Eve would be a good idea.

Much like the Gallente specialty haulers, this ship would be less maneuverable and slightly heavier than the Sigil, at about 13,000,000 kg in weight, and a 0.90x or so inertia modifier. In addition, its cargo hold would only have 550 m^3 of space. The industrial would also have a corpse hold with a base capacity of 40,000 m^3.

The ship would have the same resists as the Minmatar industrials. For tank, it would have ~2,000 structure HP, ~1,500 armor HP and ~700 shield HP. Shield recharge time would be at a base 550 seconds or so. Capacitor capacity would be around 600 GJ, with a 300 second recharge time. Maximum velocity would be 130 m/s, with a warp speed of 3.00 AU/s.

The ship would require Amarr Industrial and Minmatar Industrial to be trained to level 2.
For each level of Amarr Industrial, the ship would gain a 10% bonus to ship corpse hold capacity, and a 2% bonus to all armor resistances.
For each level of Minmatar Industrial, the ship would gain a 5% bonus to ship inertia modifier.
The ship, like all other industrials, would get a bonus to effective distance traveled for jump fati

Fitting would be restricted, as the ship would have less CPU and powergrid than a Sigil, with 200 MW powergrid and 250 tf CPU. The ship would have 2 high slots and 1 turret hardpoint, for the battle industrial option. 3 mid slots but 6 low slots would give the capsuleer an option to either fit the ship with nanos and I-stabs for faster align time, or armor tank the ship, or somewhere in between. 3 medium rig slots, with 400 calibration points, would be given to the ship.

Perhaps, the Blood Raider industrial ship tree could be expanded to a corpse-hauling freighter, similar to the ORE freighter that hauls assembled ships.

Before anyone asks, yes - I am very bored, and no - I am not high right now.

It would be named "Combine" like the farming equipment.

Or they could just use a regular T1 hauler? Corpses take up hardly any room anyway.

I mean sure, it might be funny, but the capitals actually will see use as combat ships, the corpse bay is just a LOL aspect to them. Making an entire ship for LOL then eats dev time for maintaining the ship through graphics updates & any industrial rebalances.

There's literally no point to this.

Corpses only take up 1m3 each and since they don't stack you can carry at most 1000 of them in one container or bay. A regular hauler can actually carry more corpses because it can pack them into containers.

From a Lore perspective the pirate factions just use the regular T1 haulers like everyone else. The full up Pirate Faction ships represent some substantial departure either in tech or capabilities from the regular navy ships they're based on, there's nothing like that needed for a hauler.

For that reason, this is more of an idea for a special edition ship more than anything. Now that I think about it, you have a good point, and it wouldn't make sense for CCP to spend much time on it, so a Sigil corpse hauler reskin, rather than a new model, would be the way to go.

That will work, +1 for blood raider Sigil skin.
