yea it is useful to play around with the various ammos to check their ranges, I threw short mid and long range ammos on my fit earlier and didn't really look at the details, the long range ammo shoots way out past your probable lock range so there isn't much point in carrying it.

That's why I don't use iron and tungsten(unless it's a big hard hitting bady, too scared to get too close), the iridium(30k op and 47k falloff) is just perfect for my lock distance on my vexor(40k) and still has a decent kick to it.

Slapping on a signal booster with range scripts will have u shooting 60--70k if you want a lot of range
