If a person places "Terrible standing"+"Blocks" whoever, then that channel should show them also, not just in the regular Local channel, given that the "Local Notification hostile channel" is opened by the user.

Perhaps, also, right clicking on the channel to set/specify a certain "- security level" and below that amount will also put those negative security people in the channel.

It is up to you to keep yourself safe. Local is there to show everyone in the system. It is already too powerful as an intel-tool.

Wormholer for life.

CCP have already said, explicitly, that they are not interested in expanding the role of Local as an intel source, or making it easier to glean information from it.

They have, in fact, said this when asked something similar if not identical to exactly this suggestion.

So yeah, no.

My guess, OP had this happen:

Wondered why his free intel was insufficient. Wants more.

Better suggestion, get better at watching local when you're in LS. If local isn't empty, you'd need to have your head checked for bringing a skiff out.

An even better suggestion would be to drop your little self-corp and join a real corp. You know, where you have friends, in this massively multiplayer game. I've lost count of the number of times someone further down the pipe in my area has warned of neuts, giving me all the time in the world to dock up and reship into doctrine ships. And since there is a group of us, said fights usually end up green for us.
