PS: I'm checking out why the resolution is so low, I imagine fraps doesn't record in 4K also had to fix some sound issues. Next of my ships getting blown up will be in better quality ;)

Not sure what the hell it was I just watched...

(1) I tried to get into the station, it might have been better if I warped out...
(2) To transport a bunch of badgers.
(3) I have the skills to drive it, it's insured. It's a risk but it's easy. Metagaming with alts is an option too I guess.
(4) Good idea, but never been there.
(5) That's a good hint there. I was distracted and i'm a casual player.

PS: I played eve on and off for around 10 years now. And i'm still noobish but I'm okay with that. At least I like to play the game and don't have to worry. There are other regiosn that require a different mindset. To each their own I guess, all about balance. There is no PVE without PVP and no PVP without PVE. And for those word purists I mean PVP as combat in ships, not underselling at the market :)

You could have made a courier contract.

I recently lost a freighter and 5.2B in collateral to a gank that I new was coming.
In retrospect there were several things I could have done to minimize the damage or even beat the scam.

Retrospect is useless.

That's the problem with this game.....

Too many trigger happy jerks that see sense in the senseless.....

I know...war .....this is a pvp game......leave if you don't like it......and so on....
I heard it all......

But i still don't get it why someone has FUN in shooting an unarmed ship....i don't care if it's a barge or a freighter.....

Sure...you can create MANY excuses why this is "a good thing" but the simple truth leads to only one conclusion...it's all about the kill...to disturb someones day to the core.....and finding this funny is - i apologize- simply sick.....

Someone who finds it funny to spoil someone's day needs medical and mental help......quick......

I'll go out on a limb and try to answer you seriously.

You just don't understand the depth of the game. Someone might also say "I don't get it why someone has FUN in hauling ore", or "I don't get it why someone has FUN in shooting a mining beam at a rock". The beauty of a game like EvE is that you have to set your own goals. So the hauler looks as if he's having a boring time but he's concerned with a bigger picture. The hauler wants to achieve profit targets and upgrade his equipment, so that's what he's thinking while you think he's bored. The miner much the same is concerned with his own targets and his own plan, and it's easy to assume you know what's going on under the surface but you really can't.

The PvP guy is the same, you can't assume he's just "finding it fun disturbing his day". Many people do it for that reason, but you can't discount other factors like killboard competition, strategic factors and profit, all of which are legitimate reasons to blow up a Charon. This is a core part of the game

You could say that to literally any post that says something bad about EvE.

"yeah well the player numbers support it" is meaningless unless you can demonstrate somehow that this specific reason is to blame and not the myriad of other potential reasons that have all be discussed to death.

There are less players than at EvE's peak, but i don't believe for a second it's because of wardecs. I learned loads from being wardecced as a new player, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
