So with the introduction of the blood raider shipyards and the dynamic experience there, would it be possible to have missions to scale if you're in a fleet with others, with there being a minimum amount of ships so that current solo runners can still do the same as they are now but also give a incentive to do it with friends, with the missions spawning according to what you bring up to a certain extent.

I personally haven't done missions in a very long time but when I did and was able to do to them with a couple friends it was some of the more memorable and fun time in eve and I believe this could bring a dynamic to mission running with friends that is actually beneficial.

Plus it would add some flavor to PVE instead of just blitzing everything with whatever the meta is nowadays.

A question very much like this was asked at the end of the Phenominal PvE panel at Fanfest and the answer was pretty much "maybe, but not right now".

Two questions actually.

Question 1 timestamp.

Question 2 timestamp.

For anyone who is *really* lazy and wants a two sentence summary.

The answer was basically not right now because this is super new tech and if CCP drops it into Missions or Wormholes or Havens in Null and breaks those everyone is going to be out for blood. So it's easier to develop something like this and test it and create new things with it because there isn't that same sort of weight of expectation or needing to hit an existing target like roughly matching current solo mission rewards and performance.

There is also a certain amount of "careful what you wish for" . With procedural generation you will never see the same mission twice and the new AI will require you to maintain situational awareness. Sites like Eve Survival will basically be useless. Missions and Anomalies will no longer be predictable ISK farms. A lot of players will be unhappy about that.

It will take CCP a while to get the new AI dialed in. People running the Blood Raiders shipyard will basically be beta testers and we can expect some interesting results. I doubt we'll hear talk about bringing this tech to missions before next Fanfest.

Co-operating with friends is definitely capable of, forming our most memorable experiences.
Whether that is through large fleet action or small gang for PVP or a wide range of activities with PVE.

Your suggestion has the basis of a good idea, firmly confirmed with experiences we have all had in the game, Group play is a good and valid experience, that leads to almost an unquestionable benefit, for all concerned including CCP.

There is no need for HS to be excluded from this boon, HS players, almost more than any other sector of space, will reap the benefits of encouraging co-operative gameplay.

Unfortunately this will not happen as long as the current wardec mechanic guarantees that HS co-operation merely feeds the interests of the killfarming "community", and as a direct result, all Of CCPs incredible good work is simply discounted as meaningless.

A little bit of cleaning up is needed before there is any point in encouraging Co-operative PVE. Whilst the core reason for avoiding joining with others in HS remains, continuing to do so is the ONLY sane and rational behaviour. Improving the rewards for doing so, will simply increase HS players frustration, and paradoxically damage retention.
