UI Scaling For 4K

Its not that special. Lots of people use TVs. One of my corpies cant use anything else because he has a disease that keeps him from using a desk.

I kind of want to pull this back up to the top. Now that laptops, both gaming and business are coming out with 4k as the standard. As well as with GPUs all able to handle 4k rendering. I think this would be a fantastic time to revisit getting UI scaling a bump in the cap.

If you do downscale the game, you will notice the font and textures becoming fuzzier due to the screen not displaying as crisply. I even notice the font not being as crisp in any game that doesn't render well at the screen resolution.

by this time 2018 I think 1080 will be the minority. I said it before, adoption will ONLY accelerate. It isn't going anywhere. If CCP was smart theyd redo the coding entirely to make it easier to scale because 5k and 6k is actually beginning to actually cross peoples minds too. Get ahead of the curve. Future proof arguably the most critical thing in the client. No UI no game.

you can get glasses for that now, not a fix in game i know, but just thought i'd mention it.

What size is your 4K monitor? Yes eve looks sharp and so does the Ui, but that doesn't mean it's readable haha.

I play Eve on a 49 inch 4K and it looks amazing.

Colorbind mode is about to be released. They announced it at Fanfest haha
