Didn't know the award was just for Baseliners. If so then nominating "The Discourse" and crew are not appropriate, true.

Given that, I can see the award going out to Ret. I have to confess to knowing less about Baseliner news than I probably should.

The University of Caille Award for Journalism Excellence was and is dedicated to non-military, non-capsuleer news organizations and participants. The rationale, as I understand it, was to support those that take risks to their lives and reputation. Without a clone backup, I believe Ret qualifies.

Too bad Gutter Press was not covering this event. Shirley Serious would have shown us what real journalism looks like, especially since she would not have overlooked the esoteric or demonic aspects of the story.

Completely agreed, a White Caldari would do him a world of good after the lawsuits about the Exotic Fedo incident. And I might make one for myself as well...

Perhaps, whilst she was part of the team, I would personally like to see the results and I haven't seen any of her finished work appearing in publication.
