Well, I'm guilty of using Isk/hour IRL. It just rolls of the tongue way better than alternatives I could think of at the time.

When someone asks you the price of an item, quote it to them, someone says "That doesn't sound right" and you go to check only to realize you just quoted them the price from 2010/08/06/03, the last time you had to buy one...

1. When you see a random DUI check point while driving and think gatecamp.
2. When looking at cars you think that hoopty is probably Mim, that Land Rover looks Caldari.
3. You realize you are looking for those Icelandic soft drinks or beer you had at Fanfest in your local grocery store.
4. You meet a new person and wonder what their employment history is before inviting them to a party.
5. You watch a space movie where a ship gets blown up and you think to yourself "probably a poor fit".
6. When a friend says they are thinking about getting a dog you suggest a slaver hound.
7. When friends ask where you are going before a Las Vegas vacation you say of to spend some time in a pleasure hub. (you have to have been playing for a long time to get that one!)
8. You make a big purchase across town and worry driving home is you should worry about being ganked in traffic!
9. You think that slow traffic is fine because it is just time dilation because of the street loads
10. You start to wish the Eve background music played everywhere in RL.

When you've not logged on to the EvE client in five months, start overposting on the forums a month before resub while you're waiting for reply EvEmails on the new alliance conspiracy you're already embroiled in.

Then your mates ask you why you're on that weird forum so much and you reply "I'm playing a spaceship game that I'm not playing" and they look at you like dogs do when they're trying to understand something confusing but can't.

I only post here if EvE is offline. Which means my posts are never well timed.
