If you quit EVE today what would you do with all your isk/assets?

Buy a metric ton of Plex. Unlike the reasons others listed, save them for the next charity donation thing. You could literally contribute 10-15k worth to a good cause with over a trillion isk.

I am actually quitting this month, as I wont renew my sub. I'm not going to do anything with my ISK / assets. I'll decide what to do when and if I get back to the game. Which might be next month, might be never. Because I don't know that yet, I'll keep my stuff.

Then you're not quitting...

Quitting needs a mindset akin to stopping drinking or smoking, would you keep a six pack in the fridge and a packet of fags, just in case?

I get that it can be difficult to leave a time investment like a game behind, i've done it in the past..Pox Nora, WOW, Dofus...just walked away from them and if I ever decide to go back then I have no problem starting from scratch..

Unsubbing for a bit isn't quitting ;)

Solecist Project...." They refuse to play by the rules and laws of the game and use it as excuse ..." " They don't care about how you play as long as they get to play how they want."

I think I have about 150 billion I'd have to get rid of. First give everyone in Eve a Slaver hound! No better company for a Eve pod pilot! Second I'd buy every firework I could find and have a huge show in Olo, where my corp sort of got its start. With whatever was left I'd fly around randomly and hand out isks and whatever stuff I still owned. I'd get to the point were all I still had was the noob ship and the stuff those come with and I'd dock in some starter station and then I'd log off for that final time. Uninstall Eve from my PC and spend the evening with an adult beverage reading all the old issues of Eon.

The next day I'd go back to playing Everquest more as a statement about my dislike for WoW. My Bard Elf would then often dream of life in space while fetching arrows......

When I wasn't wasting time in Everquest I'd log into the free server for Earth and Beyond and ponder just what a perfect space game experience could be...

OK, that's all a lie, I'm never leaving Eve!!

Liquidate all assets, buy PLEX with the Isk as such acquired, PLEX accounts till the stars burn out.
That way I would always be able to come back in the future.

It's hypothetical though, EvE is like Hotel California.....

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

Leave them as they are - I am well aware that to leave Eve forever is not that easy.

If, for some reason I actually do leave forever (due to poor health for example) I would pick a random, eager new player in the Help channel and give him/her all my assets.

I think i quit eve around 15 or 20 times since 03, i always come back to it. id leave my all my ships/modules right where they are and save whatever isk I got left; i'll be coming back to it later in the year..guarantee.
There is a reason why they say "eve forever".

No one ever really "quits" EVE, people just take long extended breaks from it.

TL;DR If you didn't read the entire post perhaps you're probably ADHD. (seek help)

Can confirm what most are saying..

I quit Eve in 2009. Came back 2016 for a bit, then left again.. Just resubbed.

In 25 years when your kids are grown up and it is time to retire, you may want to plug in to the Full VR Matrix-like game that is Eve-online and live out your years as a space pilot.

That would suck if you had biomassed a classic character years earlier.
