Fascinating. Were you able to identify the target of your celestial rampage ? Or was it just a vague feeling of ruining someone's day a long way in the future ?

Not so much. The future devastation was pretty abstract. I suspect it was more about depersonalization than anger.

Even though our love is cruel; even though our stars are crossed.

Is it normal to feel oddly relaxed after reading this?

Well hell, I'll share one. I had this one years ago and the essential imagery has always stuck with me.

The soil is black. Not merely dark or wet, but the matte black of carbon against which the healthy fecund green and yellow of living, wild grass is startlingly hyper-real.

And on the horizon? Clouds the shade of slate and limestone, bunched like a fist, grumbling like an old man. Ripe with rain and thunder, but far away for now.

I survey all of this from a narrow gravel road atop a wind-scoured moorland hill, sheltered slightly by a loose wall of stones stacked in place without mortar. I cannot remember where my journey started, nor where I am going.

Where the road forks I find a giant, a man made of mossy polished stone, buried to his waist beneath the limbs of a tree so wind-blasted that it has grown almost sideways. He reaches up into those branches to tend the huge wooden cart-wheels hung there...and ignores me.

Not quite as narratively intact as Mebrithiel's, perhaps, but as I said it's stuck with me.

Dream journals are dumb.

Agreed. I wouldn't have done this, but clearly I did.

Your dream made sense and it is saying that you need to stop being awful.

Can't stop won't stop. Besides, I've never really subscribed to most peoples opinions of "awful". Sorry, petal.

I don't know what you're on, but I'll make sure to poke Josh and the folks at Coreli for a good supply of it.

I appreciate all the informed feedback on... this. I clearly do more than sleepwalk and murder in my nap-times. She's clearly rising in activity and i'm excited to see where this goes!

Not that kinda excited!

...well, mebbe...

Anyway....

I rather enjoyed that dream in a rather carnal way. There's something about surrounding yourself in a sea of blood that really gets you peaked! I have no clue what the dream is meant to mean, if it means anything at all. She's clearly taken an interest in it, as have you all!

Please do keep coming with the feedback. The fedo's already outta the bag, so we might as well make fun of it and I or she might even come up with more in the future!

In the meantime...

Just reading about this dream of yours Meb, has stirred things in me as well.

Sometimes dreadful, sometimes horrifying, and yet oddly carnal and I find myself seeking more.

Perhaps we need to find some time to hang out.

I do please keep posting these wondrous dreams of yours.

Perhaps I would do the same.
