Option to Disable "Doubleclick in Space" Movement / Keybind optional

i fly a lot of kiting ships...
i target the enemy ships on grid most times by holding CTRL and drag the box around targets in space...not via the overview.
I use the same Key to unlock them and not Shift+CTRL. (the Shortcut is called "Toggle Lock Target" and can be assign in the options Keybinds).

Sadly, it happens that EVE (Servertick) does recognize this as double-click in Space...and that often resolves in RIP Oversized AB Phantas or similiar.

It would be awesome to have the option to disable the "doubleclick in Space" Movement and have the same feature be able to assign to a key...

Because neither Q (approach) and also not A (Align) can do the same like double-click in Space...

For my gameplay, and how i set up my keys and use more actions on Grid than rather having my eyes focussed on the Overview, it would be a huge improvement.

Am i really the only "nervous" and adrenaline pumped PVP Guy here, that ever ever lost Ships because of "failed" double-Clicks and too much tremble while clicking in Space ?

hmm...maybe i should not drink so much coffee anymore and stop posting useless and non-"improvement"-Makes-No-Sense Postings about what could be a small feature, some other Pilots also would like to have in Eve...besides me ?

Learn to love double clicking in space. Srsly, manual piloting is the pinnacle of flying kiting ships (and flying PvP in general) and nothing beats double clicks in space for that.

I love manual piloting, and i mastered it on the highest LEVEL.
Thats why i want it to be optional, possible to be bound to a key.

(maybe read the starting post again what the main problem was) Thank you for reading it, and your try to help.

PS: that Pandemic Horde Inc. sure makes me look like a cheeky NewBro Scrublord for some guys here :D damn...
