Circadian Seekers disrupt the activities of unalert cloaked ships.

In what can only be described as a remarkable turn of misfortune for those who like to turn on their ship's cloak to take a long nap, go to work - on getting that one piece of space dust up there they just can't seem to reach, or amuse themselves with overly long periods of watching Gallente produced Holoreels, Circadian Seekers have been turning up at completely random times, conducting their usual mysterious scans, and 'accidentally' decloaking cloaked ships.

Witnesses say that there is simply no knowing when (if even) they will appear to scan down and decloak your cloaked ship. They may show up once every five hours or 5 times an hour. One Amarri victim claimed it was "as infrequent as a Minmatar shower". Meanwhile a Minmatari victim asserted it was "as frequent as an Amarri's self-flagellation yet as random as the Amarri god's control over the weather."

Empire animosities aside, the frequency of the Seeker's appearance seems to be directly correlated to a pilot's penchant for cloaked activities in a stationary craft (including perpetually orbiting or really any situation where the craft's operator appears to be unavailable to respond to the Seeker intrusion).

Alert pilots are little effected by these curious critters as the capsuleer has plenty of time (allegedly a full two minutes) to evacuate the area prior to being scanned and revealed for what they really are, holoreel addicts with inexplicably large supplies of empty lotion dispensers in their cargo hold.
