Hello everyone,

I've decided to come back to New Eden after about 10 months. The game has changed a lot in some areas, and not much in others. I've spent the last 2 days reading on the forums, searching through all the new expansions, etc. I use to run a small industrial corp in high sec. Seem that everyone in the corp has no left and left me by myself. I'm in need of some direction.

My main, this account, was my mission runner. My alt was my industrialist, mining, hauling, etc. It seems there's lot's of changes to industry now. I have some question about the whole PI thing. Can more than one person build a colony on a planet? I only ever see one Customs Office in orbit. Unless I've over looked this answer somewhere, I can't seem to find the answer. Is PI something I could get into, or is it more like manufacturing, start small then grow up?

My main is pretty much set on BS and below skills, and I was thinking of starting to change him over to more industrial skills. He has the standings for refining, is it worth my time to train the ore processing skills up? I think my alt will go for an Orca now, then a freighter.

I'm also about to drop a high sec POS, have these things changed in anyway from before that I should be aware about?

I know this might be TL;DR or a lot of questions, but I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks and Fly Safe

Maybe repost this in science and industry. I'm sure you'll get a better response there.

You could get into both, really. PI is not very skill intensive, and those skills generally just improve the number of planets and amount of stuff you can do on those planets. Yes, multiple people can be on the same planet.

Depends. You don't need them at max; at a station with 70% base refine you can get perfect refine pretty easily. You'll need standings with the corp which owns the stationto stop the NPCs from taking some of the minerals, though

Thanks for the responses! I did read about the POS fuel change on the 24th, so I'll be waiting to anchor until after wards.

I have to admit, I don't like these new forums, only in the fact that all the links to guides and resources have changed to the EVE wiki. When did they change, and are the old forums saved anywhere? I guess the info on the old ones wouldn't really help now a days though.

"Archives" link in top right area of this page goes to old forums. (below Search box).
