If you quit EVE today what would you do with all your isk/assets?

I'm going to give my trillion worth of assets, isk, and skills to those who helped me in game (mostly my investors, thank you for trusting me with your billions) and those who I admire.

April 8th 2007 I created my first pilot, April 8th 2017 I'm biomassing all of them.

Thank you CCP for ten years of fun. I have come to the realization that my love for EVE consumes too much of my time. When I first started it was ok, because I had just returned home from Iraq. I got wounded in battle and lost function of my left arm, Eve was my escape from the pain and boredom during recovery. Now im fully recovered and trying to get back into the fight so to speak, I have to devote all my spare time to training for selection.

So I'm letting go, and I'm so surprised that i have a sinking feeling in my gut over a video game. Truly amazing.

Good luck to everyone in your future internet spaceship ventures!!

Save a hefty amount in a liquid curency or assets in case I do return (you never really quit the game), buy some New Order shares with the rest.

buy as many plex as I could since it is the best way to store isk against inflation.
whelp the majority of my combat ships in ill advised roams.
move whatever assets I'd like to keep to npc stations.
set the longest skill queue I can manage.
log off and come back in however many months it takes for the itch to pop up again.

Definitely go out in some colossal fireball, and take as many with me as possible.

I usually buy a bunch of minerals and a bunch of Gnosi, I made 10% profit after a 6 month break once!

Give some of my stuff away and simply mothball the rest. I did this once already many years ago thinking I was never going to return.... here I am 12 years later still going.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

I'd give it all to promising Karmafleet newbees of course, fueling both love and hate at the same time.

I'd re-process everything I owned in every station.

Then sell the minerals and send the isk to the Magic Bus or something similar.

Then biomass, if you are convinced you have had enough and are not coming back, why would you keep any assets in any form?

I'd give everything to the first guy on the forum who asks for it. So... can I has your stuff instead?

Question was if you quit today what would you do. not if this was your last log ever. Convinced today, unconvinced 3 years later. Things change. Didn't think I'd be coming back when I decided I had enough, fortunately the ships, isk and plex were there. Moral of the story, keep your stuff Blink

Oh i know, I have taken plenty of breaks. The real moral of the story is when you know its time to move on, as hard as it is, there is only one way to possibly do it.

Biomass, the process has begun

If I quit, I'd quit fully, not half quit..today or tomorrow there's only one way.

If you keep stuff, you ain't quit ;)

I had a time out for 711days... half of it with sub half without, coming back made the game feel fresh and new after that time, and coming back to my empire of assets and isk with the high skilled toons made it very nice, and since done some epic things.

Yes I understand eve takes a lot of real time if you wish to do well, but just sub and go on time out for a year... rather than take the option away forever.

Even if I was never going to play again, I would never delete my toons or trade them, if I did that... What would of been the point in all them years of gaming ? if I just wiped out all that awesome forever. would rather my toons live on within the game than just do a pointless delete, self control is the problem not eve.

However to the OP, I would do some epic event, and go out with style... Grace & flare RollBlink but still leave my toons within the game for all time.

I already did that once in 2009. Gave all my wealth to a friend that then quit shortly after me. Got it all back when I picked EVE up again in 2012..

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.
