POSTOUVIN - Scope News has learned that traffic control in the Federal Constellation of Orvanne has seen its busiest day since records began, after independent capsuleers and scientists began to arrive this morning for the start of the YC119 Kyonoke Inquest tomorrow.

The Upwell Consortium has confirmed that the Keepstar class citadel that forms the main bulk of the Kyonoke Inquest Center is now officially the most populated structure in New Eden, housing a colossal two hundred and sixty five million staff, scientists and support personnel from all corners of the cluster.

With a population so high, the Upwell Consortium has drafted in a team of its own engineers and designers with the permission of the Society of Conscious Thought, in order to learn more about the structure's performance under such extreme load.

While no staff who have entered the quarantined locations across the cluster have been permitted to leave the cordons at this stage, the atmosphere on board the Inquest Center has been described by our Scope News team as jovial but incredibly professional, as regular trips to the quarantine sites continue throughout the day.

Deadly pathogen site. Millions of marry people around it. The brightest mind of New Eden gathered in one spot. Plot and treason on data files.

While unfortunately i won´t be able to attend the Inquest, i sincerely hope we have a good outcome from all this, because it´s a neat perfect recipe for distaster about to happen that could set us back years on the field of biogenetics should the bright minds perish.

Yeah this seems . . . near sighted (the paranoid part of me would say it's a honeypot. collect all these people in one place and then . . .)

We live in an age where people can communicate instantaneously across the galactic cluster, would it not make more sense to have researchers spread out at various facilities sharing research and information?

I wanted to check the facilities out yesterday but it seems like the keepstar is still closed to capsuleers for the moment.

Were the VIP scientists cloned prior to this gathering?

Here's hoping for the best, because the worst is a little too terrible to consider...

If I am not mistaken, according to CONCORD laws you can clone only after body death or right prior it to prevent having two identical people running around, it creates legal consequences that mash up existing laws.
And, as far as it is known, consciousness transfer after the infection is impossible, because it damages brain.

You have gotten it wrong. According to CONCORD laws, you can only ACTIVATE another clone after body death. You can still store a clone of yourself, without personality data, in your med bay.

Otherwise, it will simply take more than *just* a few hours to come back from the brink after clone death.

Consciousness transfer is possible after infection if the patient self-terminates. The issue is that the brain state data is damaged, hence it's better to prepare a soft clone backup and activate that instead. That is what Morgana is proposing: soft cloning. Still require regular data update so that the soft clones can review them instead of starting from scratch all over again.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

I'm being told by some contacts inside the keepstar that, while still not actually confirmed, Kyonoke may be present there. It seems like that worst case scenario might come to pass here...

Again, just speculation, but worth keeping a close eye on.

Oh dear. They say panic can be deadlier then any virus.

Whether those rumours are true or not I expect a packed out structure like that isn't the best place to induce rumour mongering.

God help those souls whatever the case because it seems said rumour mongering has started...

There does seem to be sickness aboard. None of us are affected yet, but there are signs of illness all around, and there are a lot of rumors.

Can we get an update on this rumor?

KY-PSTV-02 was infected and transfered to the Inquest center under quarantine order #1739886/A, so i think technically yes, Kyonoke IS inside the Citadel, just don´t know how contained.
