Can someone plz help me out with a good fit for it with droners only. or is this crazy....I can not find one damn fit like that..

Best fit it all depends on what your going after, without this advice will be flawed, but if your going for drones then a gnosis would work well and give you nice options while being very affordable.

what do you plan to use the ship for? I imagine copying a dominix fit would mostly help you, but drones only a domi will probably be better

it depends for what you'll use it.
generally 2 dda and the rest of the lows dedicated to tank
plenty of mids to apply damage/cap/prop mod (if you are gonna use sentries then you want even a MJD i presume)
highs can be anything else, scan probe if WH, remote armor repair for logi, neut and smartbomb..

i will just be using it for ratting in high sec and some wh but no pvp.........maybe 0.4 system to watch over mates while they use prospects to mine.....

You take that ship into lowsec and you are going to get gang graped. Even if there isn't enough people there to get you that second, someone will see you and it will be on like donkey kong. Or someone will just drop a carrier on you...


Take a peak at that losses board and you will see many die in lowsec.


If you want to own the ship because you think it is cool, so be it. I own many ships I don't fly. Why, because I want to and I can. Now I don't take my pretty pretty's into dangerous places because I don't want to watch them splode.

There is nothing in high sec, ratting wise, you need a battleship to kill. If you like drones, go ishtar, Vexor NI or even a gila. If you want a bigger ship you have the myrmidon as a go to as well. Passive shield fit it.. slap some salvagers bring an mtu and clean up wrecks while your drones put in work.

The Nestor is a very.. wierd ship. I have one that I used for Superior Sleeper sites, but for other PVE tasks it really isn't a very good ship. For ratting, defense fleets etc. an Ishtar would be cheaper and far more effective.

Nestor is the only BS, that can squeeze into small wormhole. Thats all good about solo usage of it, IMHO. If you do not use it as fleet logi, there is tons of other ships, that will give you more for less money or same for much less money.

Only good reason to fly it is if you like it. Cause you will starre at your ship for long time and it is your game, so use what you like. But ISK/performance ratio will be lower comparing to its counter parts.

You see, the key to fitting a nestor is to shove as much bling on it as possible. So let's go through the fitting process of the beautiful craft. First, we will be fitting some weapons on it, as where would we be without GUNS! For this we will be using the standard T2 versions of the Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II. Now, we will need to be scanning down Wormholes. For this we need a Sisters' Core Probe Launcher. For the mids we need a good shield tank. We will use 2 A-Type Adaptive Invulns, and a Pith A-Type XLSB. Finally we need tackle, so we can hold a target down. For this we will use a True Sansha Warp Disruptor and a Dark Blood Stasis Webifier. Lastly, we will need to add our Reinforced Bulkheads (Syndicate Faction of course), and 2 Dread Guristas Drone Damage Amplifiers, and our very capable SENTIENT Damage Control. In our Rig Slots, we will fit a Large Core Defense Field Extender, a Large Trimark Armour Pump, AND a Large Transverse Bulkhead. You can't compromise on such a beautiful ship, so go for all of this crap...

Warp into a site, align towards a random direction away from the rats and activate the MJD. Then lean back and comfortably pop rats with your Warden II's from +100km without getting a single scratch on your hull. And if you aren't in high sec you can then also drop a mobile depo to be able to refit just in case trouble arrives and you need to refit into something more sturdy or agile.
