It has 3 billion mass +/- 10%. Is there some combination of battleships to roll it and never get stuck or is a hictor required?

We do it with 3 Cold/Hot Higgs BS passes, check stability, if unstable then 3 more Cold/hot passes , if stable then 3 Hot/Hot passes.

About 350m is what you can get from a higgs BS. You divide the minimum possible mass by an odd number and select the highest number that is closest to 350m. For 3b it is 2.7b/9 = 300m. This means if you jump the wh 9 times with 299m it %100 won't' collapse and strand you. The 10th jump is your last battleship coming in.

So you go in with 5 battleships that are 299 mass. If it went half mass, which should happen %50 of the time, it will collapse. If it didn't then you pass a 6th ship with 130m more mass (higgs onyx or something) then it will collapse. This should leave some %5 chance of you critting the wormhole after everything is in and out. It is negligible. If it happens you use the hictor.

Do you know if stacking penalties apply to the mass reduction of the hictor's warp disruption field?

Pyfa says no, but in game says yes.

We were doing 5 300 mil BS all hot in and all hot out, then if it didnt collapse we would use a hictor, but one time the hictor got stuck on the other side, wondering if we were doing it wrong or that is possible.

More bubbles less mass , getting stuck with bubbles up is just bad luck.

It happens. Really rarely though and it means Bob hates you. I would trust the in-game mass of the ship. A higgs hictor should turn to be more or less around a frigate's mass

it can, but it's far more dangerous than with a BS and since BSs can now be fit to have the same mass as an orca, there's little point.

Higgs Orca would be Over 300Mil with a Prop on will be 400mil which will not fit through most holes (unless you time you Prop very well) .

The main reason is its really really slow. a Higgs Orca with a T2 500MN MWD goes 63m/s while a BS goes around 100m/s faster.

The whole not being able to jump through the hole due to being too heavy is kinda an issue too.
Orca + AB = exactly 300m mass which is idea for the smaller holes but like i said, you can get BSs to the same mass now so *shrug*

If you time the prop mod activation just right you can get through with a mass greater than the allowed limit.

Either way the Higgs BS are a better option, 200 and 300mil (Cold hot) divide nicely into 1,2 and 3 bil holes.

K346 is super easy because you can't close it accidentally when jumping out light with a higgs battleship, as long as the hole is not crit. If it's not crit, it has at least 270 mass left.

So it's even more hilarious that I saw so many nullsec people trapping their battleships in my c3 when they tried to close that dangerous scary wormhole.
