Ten years ago, having finished taking the bar exam, I sat down and started an Eve online account. At the time, I had no clue that I would still be playing this game a decade later.

Thank you to everyone who has made Eve so wonderful. It would not be what it is without each and every one of you.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

My ten year is coming up too in a couple of weeks. I got hurt on the job and lost function of my left arm, Eve was the most interesting game I could easily play. I have recovered now, and im still logging in.

I cant believe I still play this game.

CCP talks about high earnings lately, I hope they invest more money into what got them where they are today. EVE FOREVER! Dont ******* blow it CCP.

Gratz, guys.

The oldest character I still have that was created by me was born on 2007-11-06 19:45:00, but I started playing in early 2006 I believe. Those days are getting harder to remember as the years wear on.

For many of us, this game is the Crack of the MMO genre. It's really hard to stop once you get a taste.

If somehow everything related to my accounts got deleted, I would just walk away never to return. That is what it will take for me to give up the worthless time sink that is EVE.

I`m playing for 14 years now. Well not this char this is 9 year old. But i`m not a active player anymore more a causal player. Come in and go from time to time.

Still working on the same job in real life still married with the same wife. And 2 daughters that are growing up.
Also living in the same house. Some change here and there and new cars. But for the rest? i`m getting older and my age is showing the rest of the world.

Also losing allot of real people in real life. Cancer most of the time :( still hoping for the best that the can kill/fix this RNA defect.

10 years is quite a long time and definitely a great accomplishment to be proud of.. I've been a member for 8 years, 9 1/2 months and I look forward to saying thanks to everyone on my 10 year Birthday.

2 months and 20 days from now I'll hit 10 years as well. 10 years of enjoying the hell out of a cool and one of a kind game that most people (and half it's own players) seem to hate with a passion lol.

On the topic of birthdays, today is my 56th. A quick calculation tells me that I've been playing EVE for nearly 20% of my entire life. Other than my kids, I don't think I've invested that much of my life to anything else.

Crazy stuff when you really think about it.

I shall be 62 years old in real life; end of April and 10 years old mid-May for Eve Online.

What worries me, is how fast the time has flown by.

Time really does seem to accelerate as one gets older.
