Let's try and organize a route that starts in high sec and jumps right into dull...I mean null space and maybe go 20 jumps in a route to an npc station as the delivery point, some group with deep pockets can organize as I am not familiar with these things, I'm only an ideal guy.


1. Industrial ships only and fitted however they wish.

2. No help such as repping and such, solo runners only.

3. First, second, and third prizes all held in store thru...Chribba a trusted middle man.

4. A unique note that has the contestants lottery number.

5. A bonus to the person who is first to deliver a Pax ammaria because why not.

6. No warp bubbles on the shooters side as this would be an unfair advantage to them.

Anyway how about it, runners and shooters let's do a contest?

Do it yourself instead of hoping someone else does it for you. Also, what stops me from crashing your party in a sabre?

And.... These 4 responses is exactly why eve is stagnanting, no matter the ideals thrown about instead of exploring or adding to ideals everything is just thrown negative vibes, oh well Roll

It sounds like people waiting for others to create content is why EVE is stagnating.

I did a couple of events similar to your idea long ago. iirc one was to the eve gate and back and was a "death race" kind of thing where you could try to complete it or try to stop others from completing it. T1 only. Prizes for ships completing it by ship type. There was much destruction involved.
Put something together if you like the idea of that sort of player-event.

if i remember, the warp speed changes is what killed the death races, since before the changes it was all about align time, so you could actually have a wide variety of ships that where actually competitive.

Don't base your opinion of the community on what a few players may say. Need to allow some time for others to post as well. Usually the negative replies are first to show since those are usually one liners which are quick and easy to post.

As for your idea, it will definitely create content but it needs more thought and planing for it to work the way you envision it should. When planing something like that, definitely need to take into account that other players will try everything they can think of to either cause it to fail or meta game the event into something that benefits themselves.

Anyway, +1 for the idea but probably should think of a better name for it.
