At least you're honest about grinding rep for your eventual scam I guess.

Been playing EVE for 10 years now, on and off. The first 3 years I was criminal. I didnt scam players but I did my fair share of ore theft my fist month, moved onto piracy, then suicide ganking afk players on gates in jita before autodock, among other shadiness. I earned tens of billions of ISK doing this, but when I realized that I was making players quit, I biomassed my criminal toons and focused on the market for all income. The entire time I was criminal, I was also a market guy, and always made many times more ISK in the market than I did ******* other players over.

In EVE, honest ISK is a lot better than criminal ISK. I have been trading with community ISK for almost 6 years now, and have not scammed anyone, and never will.

So eat a bag of boners.

If you already assume we are scammers without looking at what we offer objectively, go ahead and F*** off.

Thank you, that is all.

Well for the time being I'm an investor, so scamming will be tricky Blink

Truth be told, I'm not a scammer nor do I intend on becoming one. But I realize similar words have probably been spoken numerous times in this forum by people, probably often right before they scammed other people. So I'm not expecting anyone to believe me.

I intend on having my actions and conduct speak for me over the course of time. And I expect it will take a long time, but thankfully I'm in no rush. One day the name William Ormono will hopefully be a trusted name in at least some circles within Eve.

Oh, and by the way for anyone who is interested , I have an IPO for corporate shares. Get in on the ground floor while you still can. This baby will take off like a rocket!!! 1 Trillion ISK per share, guaranteed to double in value within a month. Get 'em while they last!!!!! Pirate
JK! Don't send me ISK (not that anyone would)Cool

Second Update

One month into the investment and so far everything is still on track. Two more weekly interest payments received over the last two weeks. As before, they were both the correct value and on time.

Do you have any ideas on how to improve it significantly?

The more I improve it the less ISK in my wallet. Go ahead and share your pearl of wisdom guy...

In all seriousness, I keep them realistic so I can keep my end of the deal.

It was actually a serious question, as I am still very inexperienced in investment and market trading, and as OP I am looking to make good ISK to support my account in Omega state.

In general, you don't make good ISK by investing in other people. Most traders easily make 10% per month, and upstarts make more than 20-30% per month for themselves by trading. Or any other activity. Investing in others is something you do when you have large amounts of idle ISK, or as a pat on the back to someone.

Well said

The best advice I can give to you is think outside the box and exercise trial and error. Throw a bunch of **** at the wall and see what sticks. Constantly try new things to uncover more profitable strategies, and discontinue the not so profitable ones. If someone told you about it, there is probably a lot of competition.

When I started eve I ran missions on day one, mined on day two, and then I was like **** this ****, and started stealing ore from jet can miners. I made my first 500 million isk in 2-3 weeks stealing ore. Then I decided i wanted to roll my isk nto the market. Among other things, I set up a bunch of region wide orders for the all the different types of cloaks for 50% of their value, and sold them for full value where ever they landed. I also went to jita and invested hundreds of millions into every type and size of faction missile. Back then i think they all sold from 1000-2000 isk each. I afk auto piloted the missiles in stacks of 2000 to every system on the edge of high/low sec, and put them up on the market for 2-5 and sometimes 10 times the value of what I paid in jita. They sold quickly, and it was almost passive due to next to no competition. 2 months into EVE I was worth 4-5 billion ISK. I didnt read a guide, or talk to anyone, I just thought that maybe these missiles would sell for way more where pvp was more likely to happen, and sure enough they did. That was one of the few things that worked, out of the many things that I tried at the time.

Throw **** at the wall, see what sticks.

Building reputation is not always a prelude to a scam, it also lets people who need ISK and are willing to collateralize it reach out to individuals, be that ones that have invested with them in the past and are returning for a new loan or someone completely new that is in need of investment and would rather avoid the usual hostile responses.
That being said those hostile responses are usually warranted and based on prev experience with this type of thing, I keep an eye out for investments for myself and others but i limit myself to 1 public loan at a time to limit exposure to things going down the pan.

it's with mixed emotions that I report that this investment has come to a close. Bitter sweet indeed.

The Fukuzawa has decided to take a step back from Eve, possibly going so far as to biomass his toons. Information on his decision can be found here (read OP). I'm excited for him, as it sounds like he is following his heart to serve his country. A truly noble goal (IMO).

For the record, every promise The Fukuzawa made to me when I first decided to invest with him has been honored (and then some). Upon termination of our agreement, my entire investment (1 Billion ISK) was returned in full. Above and beyond fulfilling his promises, he Included a 500 million ISK bonus in his final transfer to me, for which I am very thankful.

At times it appeared that he struggled to be seen as the legitimate businessman that he was. To be a constant force of honesty and integrity when being met with cynicism and doubt must be exhausting, and truly I admire his persistence to remain the honest man he set out to be when he first started (instead of becoming the scammer he was so frequently accused of being).

In closing, I would like to say thank you to The Fukuzawa, for everything you've done for me.

Thank you! Big smile
