Sometimes a WTF makes you grateful for silliness not having mass, since some WTF could rip a hole through the fabric of space time.

Introducing you this concept for... something... called Ripple. Apparently the device detects hints that someone is interested on the wearer and then points at that person with the tendrils. Or whatever.

I mean, it makes all sense, you just put that stuff on your shoulders and in case someone looks at you, the tendirls will discretely ( ) point at that person. Yeah. It's a student concept from the London School of Arts, and artists, you know, aren't exaclty the sensible type when it comes to engineering...
