1. For players with older hardware and poor connections it could be a benefit to add a right click on an item function that would (load to ship/ load to hanger)

2. I might have missed it, but managing items seems to be a bit of a chore. Is there no way to automatically cause the content to sum up under one item category? In the particular instance of things like "scraps" and broken ship parts, having them auto aggregate would be a benefit. I find myself clicking on "stack all". I could see a benefit from having this a auto feature. (an on/off button if needed)

3. It could be nice to have a "junk filter" for the space dock hanger. A button off the items window that would filter out anything with a really low ISK value or utilize list of common "junk" type content. Or perhaps maybe "ship parts", that would show only the items that could be loaded to ships. (if this function exists I would love to know how to use it)

4. A "Remove all ship content" button, that just places the items equipped on the ship into the space dock hanger for you. When you are new, you don't always have more than 1 of an item. being able to strip down a ship and build up another quickly is helpful.

5. A new player tutorial arc that goes over utilizing the interface / HUD and talks about quick methods to effectively use the EVE interface to make their life easier. Perhaps a mission about the utilization of "quick keys" (from the keyboard) to achieve similar results as the mouse.

Its over a month now, and I am still finding that interface a bit much to deal with.

#2 can be done with Filters. You can set up filters to show damaged ships/modules.

#3 can be done with Filters. Set it up with a specific ISK value and it only shows you items at or below that value.

#4 is called "Strip Fitting".

#5 would be better served with player made youtube videos because there are so many things and quirks in the UI as well as things that you can do one way or another and still get the same result that one tutorial approach can't get everything covered.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

  1. What does your connection have to do with moving items around? This makes next to no sense, please explain more fully. (if you're talking about moving items from your ship to your hangar and back you can highlight any number of items and then drag them)

  2. You're looking for either Stack All or Filters. Filters are in the lower-left of your item pane. Stack-all should *not* be an auto-feature because there are cases where you want separate stacks of something, and right-clicking a single button isn't that much of a chore.

  3. The game generally doesn't tell you what is or isn't "junk" that's up for the player to decide. Most items have some kind of use somewhere. Again, I think you're looking for Filters here.

  4. Open fitting window -> Right click -> Strip Fitting. It's down near the bottom.

  5. I could see a use for this, but really I think that's down as much to personal preference as anything. There are certainly Youtube videos on setting up shortcut keys. Here's a good youtube search that might help, take your pick of the available videos: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=eve+interface+setup
