Why solve the internal problems of the Empire ? And the problems inside the Empire are very large.

Uh ... House Ardishapur inevitably will have another Heir selected in short order, if not immediately, and it's not like its holdings are leaderless in the meantime. Might be their vassal Holders are subject to a little less scrutiny for the moment, though-- or a little more....
