Tengu and legion fits

Hello all

I'm after some good fits for a tengu and legion for doing 10/10 drone sites.
I can spend about 1-1.5b on each fit. I'm in a fairly safe part of null so I don't need anything cloaky or a cyno. Just as much dps as I can get with a strong enough tank to survive.

people use to travel in t3c with nullified and covert op, then arrive at the 10/10 system, get a safe, drop mobile depot, and switch mods.

for tengu: heavy assault(i suggest this) or rapid lights, obviously active tank,AB, with specific resistance for the rats in your region.
start fitting t2 mods and keep going up until you reach the budget you have.

for legion: medium beam, active tank, specific resistance ,AB,etc etc


in both fits a large cap battery will help you out a lot.
asklepians and crystals are a bonus

Drones are a bit hard to tank since they do all 4 damage types. With most of the other races you can just stack specific resistance and get a huge tank.

Just a guess, Legion has more tank but less range and DPS (Costs more as well but upgrading the Tengu really starts to be expensive as shields mods are $$$)

TBH I don't know the Drone 10/10 intimately so I'm not 100% sure on the tank requirements but that fit is almost the same as the other linked tengu in hp/s terms but has an extra 20% dps (slightly lower application against frigates without the rigor rigs though). If the tank is enough then dropping the DC2 for a missile guidance enhancer or a 4th BCS works as does removing the boost amplifier and fitting a missile guidance comp/target painter/web. If it's massively overtanked then you might even remove the DC2 AND boost amp - from running other sites in tengus it mostly depends on the amount of webs you're going to be facing (also upgrading the AB makes a huge difference on sig tanking potential)

Quick follow up. Googled some 10/10 drone running vids and found a rattlesnake running it with ease with a 840dps tank (assuming all V skills). No way a sig tanking T3 needs anywhere near the 1k tank those fits offer. You could probably halve the tank fairly safely.

I was running 10/10 with this fit. Did Angels and Drones. Drones are a nightmare to do, because there are a lot of rooms.

Main Idea don't run 5 launcher fits. With med a-type booster, 6 launchers and 15-20 minutes of cap is more then enough to clean any rooms. Do not loose damage, except when there is no station / outpost in a system.

Always use covert cloak subsystem + interdiction nullifier for travel.

Kuari Strain Mother Kills (usually means the person got killed shortly after finishing the site)

Typically when I'm tweaking a fit I look thru the kuari strain mother kills for a starting point, then make adjustments as necessary. I currently use 2 rattlesnakes that is completely t2 fit except a gist-c shield booster. Blinged fits aren't necessary unless you have "low" SP and can't fit a t2 mwd/shield boost amp.
