Test Server Feedback

For quite some time I watched the state of the test server environment decline into the sad state it is now.

Since the citadels came out the test server declined into "spam online". Everyone had to put up a keepstar into 6-CZ49 so they can dock their sooper doopers and it became an unbearable mess of citadel spam.

The next mirror people started to be more proactive with the placements of their sooper dooper docking cities in space, so they placed them at the combat areas with a perfect view down to the beacon.

I am quite aware that the test server wasn't intended to try out new fits or fits at all but most metas originated here on the test server environment.

A new mirror just arrived and not even 5 hours later 6 keepstars are onlining at the combat area beacons, so the sooper dooper pilots can undock their titans or whatever they need to "test".

And another thing came from the "free tether" services - nobody needs logi anymore.


This may not be a big deal but when you start investigating logi ships and setups for them and everyone just warps to a tether when they want to.

Not only does nobody but the sooper dooper pilots want to log on the test server anymore but whole communities died because of keepstar online.


From your own website I quote, "...test in a "real world" environment..."

Think about this and let the class know how many entities in New Eden can even put up a 700 billion isk city without some serious hurt in someones wallet?

I did and the mirror after that was performing much better.

Still that fact remains that we used to log on to sisi to blow of some steam or put our thinking hats on and put some cool things together.

Now whenever you log on to sisi you see capital online and people asking for much goodererererer ratting sooper dooper fits to inject even more isk into New Eden.

There aren't many left whom fly real ships anymore.

Yeah but when you log on during the day you see like < 30 people in the pvp system and a few more on the weekend.

The most annoying thing being 7 keepstars looking down at the ca1 beacon.

No, no, no, I didn't say it was bad that capitals are there.

My point is that even with capitals and harsh language in local there were still enough people on whom were flying cool ships you could fight against or wanted to try out fittings or tactics.

You don't see many people these days.

What is even more sad is that if you try something new, nobody wants to help you.

In six weeks I was able to use my remote reps twice or so. Everyone else was "testing" their dreads or carrier ratting fits.

You know, the ones that make mucherererer isk and stuff. Because when you make more isk than everyone else it it is much goodererer for you and since you are the only one ratting in zee carrier and like yourself very, very much and stuff, you need even more isk than everyone else, so you can make more isk because everything else doesnt count or exist and you isk is much more important than everyone elses because you make more isk than everyone else does your your 7000 sooper dooper ratting accounte, so your isk is more worth than everyone elses isk because you like yourself so much that only you count and everyone else who is note flying 7000 sooper dooper is a scrub because it cannot make as much isk without zee sooper dooper ratting ships.

Oh that wasn't about you, silly.

If you remember correctly, capitals were always a problem but then our fellow capsuleers just went to ca2-9 instead, no biggy.

The sad thing is, now you wont find many that don't fly a dread or carrier because of cheat-sticks.

I sympathise with elitatwo. After the citadel expansion the sisi server just became a hole. I used to pay a sub just to play in an arena version of EVE without the B.S. of the main server.

Now the B.S. is part of sisi and my sub expired long ago.

Reading this thread as I play a small violin.

Just in case you wasn't aware OP that SiSi is a test server, you know to test things like "how many keepstars can we online in a week" Why care so much for SiSi and it's keepstars?
