New map does not remember layout

Hello,

This is a minor thing, but it is annoying, and I was wondering if anyone knows any tricks.

Recently, the new map stopped remembering the map layout between logins. By that, I mean the map orientation and zoom level.

When the map is opened the first time after a login, the layout is always edge on and zoomed in. I have the "Abstract Layout" option selected so that the maps is 2-D. I have to zoom out and rotate the map until I can get it to an orientation that makes sense to me. The maps does remember the orientation until logout.

Does anyone know why it does this? Is there a new setting?
