I really like the EVE community (abrasive as it may be) and I think an offline version of EVE would lose a core part of what makes this game fun.

There are surely more space-RPGs better suited for PvE progression than EVE, and I doubt any future game will attempt the same wacky experiment EVE has and succeed just as wildly. I hope this community can somehow prove to be worthwhile to you.

It never ceases to amaze me how people act like ass clowns and then get upset when others treat them like one. This thread might have been different if the OP had simply refrained from insulting the player base in his opening statement.

:O eve is online? never notice it only the patch was online right? People always complain about gankers. Use your second char in your account let that follow you where you are. Use it to go in to the sector when you have the feeling or it`s red on the map and jump with it. See if it`s get gank if no free room if yes well you know. Little work and the problem is fix easy. You lose nothing if the alt gets asskicked.
