As websites goes, that's one I avoid.

There is nothing new there. It is just a collection of the discussion points made elsewhere, primarily on these forums and Reddit's /r/Eve

We can't know the affects until something at least hits SiSi. Yield and harvest time will be the primary determining factors on the affects to the T2 market. Those depending on passive moon harvesting will lose a revenue source if they cannot adapt; no more effortless ISK printing.

For general analysis like this, I don't have any issue with The Imperium. Their news can be a little biased, but this isn't a news article. And to say that "We can't know the effects..." suggests that we shouldn't even talk about it. I can't agree with that. As long we acknowledge the speculative nature of our comments, there's nothing wrong with discussing how future changes might impact the meta. I thought the article was interesting and captured most of the different paths that sovereignty owners are likely to follow. Will be interesting to see how it play out.

The devblog is basically a request for comments and the official thread is up to 28 pages so - working as intended!

I think it's a fascinating concept to keep the assets in space where other players can interact with them and require additional work to earn the ISK - although, I suspect 1 player with a multibox mining fleet will be able to operate one of these - possibly more if they are willing to invest the time.

I am an interested bystander - I expect some wild swings in the price of advanced components during the changeover but, otherwise don't expect much short term impact on my personal gameplay. Looking farther into the future, I wonder if some variation on this theme will be used to put PI infrastructure in orbit where other players can interact with it!

As a relatively new and unknowledgeable Eve player ( < 6 years ) thinking about "meta" is a new concept for me.
