Please, hire an Intern to make new, updated and lore-accurate descriptions for everything that is missing one or have very poor ones (Like the T1 ships).

It's unacceptable that the standard capsule has no lore info about it in the show info screen.

The lore about the clone technology is on the website. As are many others. Now you know.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

Wow, I totally didn't know that. /s

Why does the Genolution Capsule have half a novel of text and the basic capsule literally two words?

It's 'unacceptable'? Lol.

Having in depth descriptions for everything is nice if ccp get round to it (some of the brief tongue in cheek ones are great though). But as it has no gameplay value there really is no rush.

Plenty of other sources of background lore already available.

Here's my problem with some of the old lore:

Quote:
Of all the dreadnoughts currently in existence, the imposing Moros possesses a tremendous capacity to fend off garguantuan hostiles while still posing a valid threat to any and all larger-scale threats on the battlefield. By virtue of its protean array of point defense capabilities, and its terrifying ability to unleash rapid and thoroughly devastating amounts of destruction on the battlefield, the Moros is single-handedly capable of turning the tide in a fleet battle.

Since when did the Moros have a point defense system(which is now in game)?

OP's right in that several of them are old and need updated to go along with changing/new mechanics. I know there are other things that need worked on as well, but you don't need to hire a graphic designer to re-write lore. This is similar to the updating art models argument. Yes, there are balance things that need worked on.... but graphic designers can still update old models while programmers/game designers work on balance.

Exactly, the Moros used to use Drones for crying out loud.

Compare the info for the Maelstrom to something like the Barghest.

Agreed. EVE's greatest failure is that CCP cba'd to actually give especially newer players the tools to actually play it. The existence of 3rd party websites isn't good enough. It's a demonstration of how much CCP actually cares about what they are doing it and the audience. When a company or even an individual is failing, the first thing that typically suffers is conscientious presentation.

Maxim 6. If violence wasn’t your last resort, you failed to resort to enough of it.

Every once and a while I see some random corrections and rewrites done to the "Show Info" descriptions for things crop up in patch notes, either for spelling issues or to correct factual errors, so it's not like they are not doing this on occasion, it's just not a huge priority. Coupled with the fact that there are potentially hundreds of discrepancies with God knows how many objects in the game "Show Info" works with, and Eve is in a constant state of development and change, oddities like the Moros' description referencing it's point-defense system it supposedly had is no surprise.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."
