Hey all, I've started streaming some of my thoughts and discussions on PVP fittings in eve.

The first stream I ran today, is PVP Fitting 101, designed for people just starting PVP for the first time or coming back to it after a long break. PVP requires the right modules on the right ships, so if you're looking for some tips about how to do this on Frigates in particular, this could help. I'm willing to present this information publicly, because more people PVP'ing is good for EVE and everyone in it ;)

Next week, Wednesday, 22:00 evetime, I will be running PVP Fitting 102, which will involve learning how to use more advanced, active-tanked frigates in solo and small gang PVP, along with Faction Navy frigates. After that, I plan on moving up through Destroyers, Cruisers, and Battlecruisers, to round out the Small Gang PVP ensemble.

Let me know your thoughts in this thread, along with any questions or feedback.

Really got down to the raw basics. You can't be too new and not be able to follow Soter here. Well done. Anything for new players, especially now with the Alphas, can only be good. Explanation of killmails and how to read them would be a great section in any of the following tutorials.

Today's stream focused on active tanked frigates, and specifically the Incursus, Breacher, Imperial Navy Slicer, Caldari Navy Hookbil, Federation Navy Comet and a derpy live-stream fitting attempt for the Republic Fleet Firetail. These ships all have one thing in common, active tanks with either shield or armor repair modules, and involve a lot more active module control and more precise manuevering. The benefit is improvements in nearly all areas of PVP combat.

Soter knows his stuff and things. And I will plug his corp for him too. Great dude, great alliance, and faction war will help you learn more about solo and small gang PvP than anywhere else in the game.
