Cost to purchase pvp related alpha skill books for each race?

I think new characters start with most of the essential skills now, and the career agents hand out a bunch of skill books. That said I haven't started a new char in ages so couldn't tell you anything exact.

I can't imagine the cost being all that high though. the main core pvp skills I'd thing would be reqs for mwd/ab, scram/web, and thermodynamics is always nice. most of the core skills are rather cheap. There is also the question of what you consider pvp ready. this char in this video has 1.7m sp and a whole bunch of it is locked out on alpha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taBLj42gytU

A selection of PvP doctrines for Alpha clones can be found here: http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/NSC_PvP_for_Alpha_Clones

Load these into the in-game fitting simulator - it will tell you what skills you need. The market tool will tell you how much the skill books cost.

Most of them will be very inexpensive - likely no more than a couple of million for all of them. If you join a PvP focused corporation they will probably give you any skill books you need to fly their doctrines free.

Every skill book except for the Connections and Gas Harvesting that you can train as an Alpha will run you ~10M. I can confirm that BRAVE hands out all these skillbooks as part of their welcome package.
