I use to be able to click on guns then click on far object in space. mods would flash and the first thing u would shift click on it would start shooting as soon as target is locked..

how do i do this again?

now i activate on mods, shift click and if target was invul it would just hang there with the target redial thing . and i would have to right click in space to get rid of it and the mods would not activate till i clicked them again..

u use to be able to preload guns and mods to as soon as u locked they would auto fire and clicking on an invulnerable character would not cause the cross hair glitch

i have not been here for 2 years or so

I do what you do in reverse, instead of hitting the buttons to activate mods and click rats, I am spamming control + click on stuff to target first, as soon as I'm positively locking stuff (usually my situation is coming out of a warp) then I roll all the module buttons to fire.

I find that preactivation before the target lock is going through is iffy at best. What Lulu said works best for me.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

targeting and then activating mods has always worked best for me. activating mods and using that to target kinda works, but can have unpredictable results, and always has the risk of clicking on the wrong thing and that can cause a very bad time.

You don't have to shift click to target if you have primed your weapons. Try doing it with out shift clicking. Weapon priming has it's uses, mostly it is useful when you want to snipe a particular spawn. I used this method to steal the BC spawns on the recent Angel's Gala event sites. I also used to use this method for overseer structure spawns in static sites when other players were competing with me for the drop.
