Question about citadels in WH space

Hello, I am just wondering about citadels in WH space. Our corp just moved into a hole and I am ceo of it. We just set up a citadel and while I trust my directors I still want to make sure I take all precautions. I am just wondering on the mechanics. Are directors able to transfer ownership of citadels and theoretically steal them? I was under the impression only CEOs could do that.

"Only a Director or the CEO of the owning corporation may decomission a structure."

By decommission does that include transferring ownership to another corp though? I know they can unanchor.

Directors can basically do most everything a CEO can. To test security and director functions I reccomend creating an alt account, give them the permissions you want to give others, and then try and see what you can abuse.

Having permission for citadel defenses will let a player move/take fuel, ammo, and fighters from the citadel, might even allow them to move mods and destroy rigs, chose your defenders wisely and take great care and suspicion with your directors.

Yes. The other thing they might be able to do is delete a corporate office in the citadel which would cause it to eject into space in a Hanger Container.

You could assign your directors all the individual rights so they can function as a director without being a director.

It is all based on a Structure Access List (inside your Business Tab Neocom ) that you can control through using that list.

Decommissioning and transferring ownership is two different things...

Directorship in wormholespace is a very dangerous thing, use it very carefully. An alternative, and highly recommended, option is to make religious use of the Title system in the game. Create a meaningful title name, and assign it some roles. Then make another title and assign it different roles. Then give the titles to the people who need them. Never, never, never assign roles individually; as they are a pain to remember and fix if you forget. Always use titles...

For example have a few for membership to function as ranks, they have the same base roles but have more roles the higher they go. Like, Junior Member, and Senior Member. Senior Member can do and see all the Junior Member can, and so on.

Then have an industrial role/title. A logistics role/title. Structure manager role/title. Market or wallet role/title. Etc.

You could even have your citadel hangars be something like, Logistics Hangar, Industry Hangar, Junior Member Hangar, Senior Member Hangar, and Director Hangar (where you keep all the super important stuff only you/directors can access), and so on.

Edit: Also, can confirm, director can transfer ownership of structure to any other corporation. It happens instantly, there's no confirm button, and there's no notification (except "Structure was transferred") or count down. My director did it to his alt corp because "what's this button do?" laughs were had, and we spent hours cleaning the floor with lemon scented solution.
