API Research Data - Is this working correctly?

Trying to query the API Research data for my character and the remainerPoints data doesn't seem to make any sense at all. I do not see any way how I could use what is there to calculate current rps I have.

Is this working correctly or is there something I'm missing?

it's a bit odd how it works it out but basically, multiply the points per day by the number of days elapsed since the start of research, then add (most likely subtract) the remainder points. That should give you approximately the current RPs in game.

The wiki for eve onlines api as in the official one is outdated and not really updated last time i looked here is a better one that may give you more information on things in the future.
