New mirror for Singularity - 2017-03-21

Singularity is currently receiving a new database mirror. The data was taken on the 15th of March from TQ.

I'll update this thread later with more info as soon as the server is available again.

Edit: The server should be online and all setup now.

  • Skill points from the last 5+1 mass tests have been re-applied (2016-11-01, 2016-11-08, 2017-01-31, 2017-02-02, 2017-03-07, 2017-03-16)
  • The Omega status of all current Omega accounts has been extended by several months. The ideal solution with daily updates is unfortunately not implemented yet.

Chances are, you won't respond. I've made several posts here and it seems mods are inactive in the forum, or don't care, but I'll try again. Omega on TQ but still non on Sisi. Can you look into it and activate me on sisi? I don't want to wait ANOTHER 3 months.

I had a super that was delivered the day before the data was taken and it was not copied over. I cannot find it on any character that would have had it on during the mirror.

Individual account support is not currently available with Singularity issues.

I lost over 6 million unallocated skill points just the other day, and I'm guessing that it was due to this mirror refresh. Any chance I can get them back?

Just like the reply I got, individual account support is not available. I had a alt participate in a mass test, and never got the 2m sp. When they do new mirrors, they take your account from TQ, and add the last 5 mass test rewards to it.

Yes, I figured as much.

And if they only take last 5 mass tests and copy from TQ, I suppose I would have lost those points even if I had spent them...

Are there any plans to mirror OMEGA status from TQ on to SISI as updates? I just came back and need to test and relearn but am ALPHA on SISI even though one of my account reactivation dates was the same day as the mirror.

I would be great if the OMEGA status of characters could be petitioned and/or just updated from TQ and not wait until the next mirror.

As I am just coming back and ALPHA / OMEGA didn't exist last time I guess this has been an issue already addressed elsewhere by people.

Your status is determined by the account status the moment TQ is mirrored. If you are an ALPHA when the mirror happened then an hour later became an OMEGA then SISI will have you as an ALPHA. Since that was your account status at the moment of Mirror. You will have to wait till the next mirror for your status to change.

Yes I realise this and am raising it as a problem which you might look at. I am a paying customer on one server (the main one) who needs to test things and due to the fact you say you can't adjust my status on the mirrored server I cannot.

I can understand a desire to keep the two servers separate but being able to update a database of active OMEGA accounts as they change on TQ and push this to SISI on request is surely possible without risking the overall testing environment?

San Ti, while I found myself in the same unfortunate situation like yourself, it has to be said that we do not pay for the test server(s), we pay for Tranquility. The test servers are something that CCP made available for their customer base as a free service simply because it is beneficial for their needs. The fact that it's a mutually beneficial enterprise is what makes us, p(l)ayers willing to participate.

With this in mind, waving around the 'i pay for it' flag is not, in my opinion, very appropriate. Lest assured that CCP is nurturing this symbiosis and this pickle of ours is one of the matters being looked into (as deducted from CCP/ISD posts).

Access to SISI is based on the needs of CCP and is not included as part of your subscription.

I'm unsure about that logic to be honest but wont' argue it out here.

What I might ask instead is if I can be on SISI and type

Why can't this process also poll whether I am ALPHA or OMEGA on TQ and reflect that on SISI?

ok this is a pretty bad system if i have to wait 8 weeks for a full mirror JUST to play on the test server, i freaken just plexed my account yesterday and i cant test my new fits, like wtf?????

Question! I a few weeks ago plexed my account, Is there any way to update it for the test server so it don't continue restricting me to basic clone restraints? If its a dumb question do forgive! Wanted to test some things.
