Mid slot usage for Crane

Hi,

I'm building a Crane for running PI in WH-space. Currently, I can't decide what to do with my mid-slots. I'm using an MWD, but it looks like CCP has increased requirements for them a lot (I've been inactive some time). I'm currently using a 50 MWD and a burst jammer, and my power is almost completely drained. I could just put some resistance amplifiers on, which I'll probably end up with, but I'd like to hear your experience.

Going defensive doesn't seem very useful. If I'm caught I probably won't get out anyway. Except of course burning for a jump gate or WH. What are you using?

for me:
50MN
covert op
inertia stabs/ nanofiber (to enter in warp fast)
Hyperspatials as rigs

all that remain you can invest in burst jammer or in defensive to try to survive at a nado ganker Blink (aka a high burst)

Pretty much this. Just be sure not to use the Burst jammer in Highsec as you will get concorded if a neutral is by you, I will totally fit my transports with one. But that's more of a fuckit end this now, button. Insta self destruction. It will have a negative effect on your sec status,


The 50mn/Cov Op trick should however keep you safe when you need to travel. Just don't anti-tank your ship with cargo expanders because you can still be ganked on station, or if you mess up your timing with the covop/mwd. That and you should have at least enough tank to survive the alpha of a single tornado/ Vexor.


Set Up your station bookmarks and you can pretty much travel unharassed.

A Crane cant really carry a huge amount, Better off just going like 6X less trips and using a Epithal (Maybe Orca for the HS part) . Use scouts in the WH part.

I could not imagine using a crane for PI, last time i exported from a WH it was like 600k m3, that would have been an insane number of trips.
