New DSCAN windows is changing filters through keyboard shortcuts 1, 2, 3, 4 globally without DSCAN window in focus.

Is this by design?

(note: I use 1,2,3,4 keys as high powerslot 1, 2, 3 so activating modules starts switching my dscan window)

Looks like that's not just the Mac version.

I would assume it's not supposed to be that way, no idea how it managed to go live like that.

The EVE client is still locking up on undocks, docks and gate jumps. It doesn't matter what I set the video memory too in the launcher or how much I degrade the graphic settings in the client. Yeah, I know... File a bug report. Submit a help ticket. For all the good that will do...

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Well, the d-scan filters are making me mad, they're fixed to numbers 1-9 and thats where my modules are, so i keep changing the filters as i use modules making the d-scan useless.

Is there some way to remove the dam filters?

You can revert to the old DSCAN for the time being, turn off your DSCAN or make sure you have another window active (not DSCAN) to get around the hot-key assignments.

Yeah, I've filed bug reports on this too, which included the highly detailed crash reports, only to be told that I hadn't provided sufficient information to identify the bug! It's a page error that results from trying to use legacy code, 32 bit libraries on 64 bit machines, but I guess 64 bit is over their heads...

I've forced the launcher to use Directx 9, and a lot of my crashing problems went away.

I appreciate the suggestion, SkyMikerJedi, and will give it a try. It's a lot better response than I got from CCP!

I've had an opportunity to spend some time scanning with the new tools, and encountered some anomalies in the tools behavior, like my scanning cone remains wherever I started, and doesn't follow me around when I warp encloaked. I find the whole process of scanning systems down to be more encumbered, and less easy to use. I really miss the ability to grab the probe shells and shrink, or enlarge, them by hand!

yup, tryied the old d-scan but the "v" hotkey dont even work, wich makes it even worse alsthou no conflict with modules, and with the new one since i scan every 5sec or so the window is always active.

Since i do like the new d-scan, exclude the game break features i pointed i was hoping ccp fix that

Since 119.2 the incidences of client crashing has increased from once per day to several times per day within the same playing time frame now with 119.3.

Events that were occurring just prior to the client crashing:

Docking
Undocking
Jumping a gate (sometimes is crashes prior to the session change, sometimes after)
Opening Planetary Colonies Window
Opening Ship Inventory Window
Rotating ship view
Zooming in/out of ship view
Opening D-Scan Window
Opening Industry Window
Jumping to a clone
Self-destructing a capsule

The error log always says the same thing: something about a 32-bit rendering problem vs a 64 bit OS.
I'll screen cap it and post it next time it happens.

I know it always takes a while after a patch for things to settle down and/or get fixed on the server side, but for those of us who play on our Macs, the time between problems being reported and resolved in the client is unusually long.

Just when it seems the game has become too unstable to play (and still be enjoyable) CCP gets around to having the Mac wrapper updated/fixed....this lasts ~ 1-2 patches before the death spiral starts all over again and we end up here.

My map doesn't work properly since the patch. I use the new beta map, and i can't select on the map the solar system. The region and constellation is working when i select them but the solar system doesn't. I clear the cache but it doesn't solve the problem.

Unfortunately, the forum is not letting me post my client crash output. It is giving me an error about the past containing html :(

I am having an issue for the last several days. Seem when I open d-scan some systems the solar system map is blank and it's working in others. I have not been able to figure out what is causing this. I am in my home system and it's blank and then I warp to an adjacent system and the solar system map is working, next system its gone and so on. Not sure what to do at this point.
