Few questions regarding character sale

Hi all,
I couldn't find any info on this so I figured I should ask here.

1. Does my character need to be in OMEGA clone or I can transfer while in ALPHA?
1a. I mean what if someone has only couple of days before OMEGA expires and decides to sell the char?


2. If I don't have 2 plex for transfer sale, can I wait until buyer sends me isk for my char then buy it from that isk to pay for the fee?

You can initate Transfers from Alpha Accounts (and receive Transfers on Alpha Accounts).

Yes you can purchase PLEX from the ISK the Buyer sends you.

Oh and one more thing..

When buying a char from bazar, do I simply send the isk to the seller?
How is that stopping him from running away with my isk?

Always send the ISK to the Character being purchased.

You mean in game? And what if he doesn't initiate the transfer sale and simply run away with the money? How am I gonna get my isk back?

You would need to open a Ticket and wait till CCP transfers the ISK back to your Account. So make sure you keep any Mails or Information regarding the Sale, till its done.


EDIT:

Maybe add a Reason to the ISK Transfer like "Character Sale".
