Corp Merge Advert

There are 2 many corps in eve it seems, most of them are rubbish, but some are good and struggle to grow, in light of this i would very much like see some sort of corp merge search in the same way the recruitment search works.

Corps that are considering a merge would be able to put up an advert and find each other more readily. also maybe some actual tools to make a corp merge happen, for instance a vote for both corps, if both have got more than 75% acceptance then the players automatically get moved after a set period. wallets get combined, contracts moved over to the agreed mother corp and all other things like that.

Game breaking and/or rubbish idea ? i don't really know i thought about it for 5mins and then posted it here

You don't need a system to handle that, you just do it. The devs don't need to spend their time programming in something that will save about a dozen people a year a couple dozen mouse clicks. It's just not worth the time when they could be doing stuff that would actually help the game.

Oh yeah, good reply. Like with all the UI reprogramming, that would be hard to accomplish.

Good idea. Just doing it doesn't work. There are far to many Corporations and people in EVE to organize something like that on a player level. except infrequently.

Well we already have done, that is what brought the idea up, because i thought there should be a better/more streamlined way of doing this. And the point of a MMO is co-operation, so why would this not help the game ? like i said it would help corps that aren't afraid to adapt to thrive.

This was the biggest problem i encountered, actually finding a corp willing to entertain the idea. Maybe 10 out of 100 think about it. Then 3 of those 10 actually agree. Then 1 of those 3 don't change there mind. It was interesting to pull off but not something that i would want to do again anytime soon.

Yeah, that is about my experience too, though I bailed when I got bored of waiting for them to make up their minds.
