Hello, I'm an Alpha Clone. I'm still relatively new and would like to read some more information from other websites, since the game doesn't explain much. I found EVE University Wiki very helpful, but I'm rather in doubt because I saw that most of the contents were last updated on 2015 or 2016 and I'm afraid that they might be outdated. I'd like to also read about ore prices or just anything that will help me to understand the game better.

Off-topic 1: Oh oh and one thing I'm really struggling to know, how do I check ore prices like in another empire? I'm currently in Gallente and it seems like my Regional Market can only view buy and sell lists from surrounding systems. I want to see the other distant places so that I can maximise my profit in business. Furthermore, is the price in Jita different from the other systems? If so, how?

Off-topic 2: I've been playing this game for one month, so I'm not sure when I should stop posting questions in the New Citizens Q&A subforum. So when am I considered "old" xD?

I'm personally not one for wikis (only read the relevant parts when a search engine directs me there) so can't really help you with that.. But I guess E-Uni's wiki is the best you'll find.


Edit: Have a look at the Flight Academy Videos in-game if you haven't already. Press F12 to get to them.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

As for info being out of date in various wiki's, it depends on the subject matter for the topic you're researching. I suggest checking out a couple of different ones, see if the info is similar and then check it out in-game. At least you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

For the record most of the PvE content in Eve hasn't been changed much so most of the guides for that content is still close to being up to date.

I check Uniwiki as well but I also reference Evelopedia via The Wayback Machine for info pertaining to PvE content. Lastly I'll do a Google search.

It's quite alright to ask questions in this sub-forum since you'll get straight answers without being trolled. However I do suggest checking out the sub-forum that pertains to the topic you have questions about. Usually there's a few threads which may have info on that specific topic.
